I mean hey it can happen to anyone right? A really dumb mistake made what was going to be a chill early night into a last minute rush trying to patch up a problem that grew bigger than it needed to be. It’s at least fun when friends are around! http://LZMFG.com

  1. The temp gauge would not read 32 unless no water was left and it was ice. Remember ice forms when water gets down to 32. So a glass of ice water is not 32 degrees. As well boiling the thermostats isn't a good test. When you test sensors t stats etc….you need a proper reading thermometer. Guessing at the temp being wrong because it was in ice water is now really going to be wrong.

  2. probably couldve fixed that radiator by welding. Yes i know i'm months behind. I'm welder by trade i had to fix a custem mini intercooler and it was a pita took maybe 30 odd goes to get it to seal. i also managed to do it without making a big crater like Alberto did 🙂

  3. Who's the owner of the brz? I can't remember you had a brz. But I sure do remember TJ have one!Edit: Never mind. I found out 30 seconds after I ask'd. I should really learn to wath the whole video before asking dumb questions. lol

  4. @ Adam LZ What Brand And Model Of Fan Did U Put One The 240 I’m Having The Same Issues I’ve Been Looking At Fans But Don’t Know A Good Brand That will Trow A lot Of Air??

  5. An improperly prepared ice bath will read a high temperature. First your ice cubes need to be about the size of sugar cubes so there is a lot of surface area. Second you want a lot of ice and a little water, not the other way around, 3rd the probe should not be touching the side of the container, you also don't want it in constant contact with any ice cubes either so it is generally recommended to stir the ice bath while you are waiting for the sensor to stabilize.

  6. Man this happened to me few days ago. I was takin my wheels off to paint them real quick on my eg Civic and turned into a much much bigger project.
Wheel stud snapped off takin the front pass wheel off. Couldn't fix so driven with one wheel stud missing 😭

  7. "Nothing can be easy with race cars" Unfortunately yes. Sometimes when I get one single simple bolt to work properly on the first time, I get a little happy since I know it could have taken an hour if something went wrong.

  8. Use a small piece of pvc pipe and put it over your drill bit so it doesnt go to far past were youre drilling if that makes any sence.

  12. JB Weld will soften when exposed to glycol and heat. It will be ok for a while, then fail without warning. Just sharing my experiences with you. If you run only water without antifreeze, it will last longer. Next time use The Right Stuff gasket maker and push it into the tube ends, crimp and fold over.
