A world record was hit at the Texas Mile and it was done in a 2006 Ford GT. The car got a little help from M2K Motorsports but they got the job done because the GT hit 293.6mph. That sets a new standing mile world record according to MotorTrend, check that out. It beat the previous world record by 10 seconds, which ironically was also made by a 2006 Ford GT.
Under the hood is an twin-turbo Accufab 5.4-liter V8. NCS Designs put their touch on it when it came to the tuning, wiring, and calibration. From a dead stop it hit almost 300mph by the time it got to the end of the mile. That’s gettin’ it done!

All the Chevy queers are hiding in the corner crying for their mommy.
Exactly Chevy fans where you at? And I'll go ahead and correct the commentator ACCUFAB Racing is partnered with M2K Motorsports, and the ACCUFAB Racing 5.4L 2500HP Ford Mod Motor is built using the 5.4L FORD MOD MOTOR OEM production block, and OEM production cylinder heads with twin turbos, all stock body panels, stock interior, stock wheels. And if you thought that was impressive it just so happens to make 1000 less HP than ACCUFAB Racing John Mihovetz's 281CI 4.6L OEM production block, and OEM production cylinder head built Ford Mod Motor that makes 3500+ HP powering his Ford NHRA Comp Eliminator/Pro-Mod Mustang that runs a 5.88 @ 255+ mph world record going on four years now running faster every year. John Mihovetz has done this, and his customers without a single Ford Mod Motor engine failure in over 20 years.
LOL- "what you think about that chevy fans?"
