Ford fans were all over the 2017 F-150 Raptor when it was released. But for some, the twin-turbo 3.5-liter Ecoboost V6 with 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque still wasn’t enough. So the people at F250R decided to add some power and bulk.
Autoblog reports the MegaRaptor starts as a 2005-2016 F-250 or F-350 Super Duty. Then F250R gets its hands on it and strips the truck of anything not essential. The MegaRaptor then gets 46” tires, 4.5”-lift both in the front and rear. F250R will set you up a set of new leather seats, 4:88 rear gears, cold air intake, front and rear steel bumpers, Amp electric steps, rock rings for the wheels, and a handful of headlight and off-road light options.
And although the wheel and suspension amp this truck up, it’s what’s under the hood that puts it over the top. The MegaRaptor has 6.7-liter Powerstroke diesel V8 that puts out 440 horsepower and 925 lb.-ft. of torque. And if that STILL isn’t enough, you can add an optional exhaust package that’ll bump the numbers up to 580 horsepower and 1,175 lb.-ft. of torque. Would you buy it?

4.88 rear gears sheeesh. That freakin torque
I still need more power!🤣
Motor depends on your donor vehicle. If you have an 05-06 diesel you will have the 6.0 powerstroke. Next gen will be 6.4. However most customers bring in 2016 f250s having the 6.7. They will convert gas 250s however they usually end up being the super raptors not the mega raptors being the Mega run on 46s and require that juicy torque that diesel push out. They do flash your computer with the exhaust if you would like. Mine didn’t need flashed being my 6.0 is already modified. It also didn’t need the exhaust being mine had one of those too. If you don’t need it they will credit you back the amount. If you have any questions go to f250r.com and give them a call.
you comparing the f150 raptor with the f250r mega raptor shows your complete disconnect and why you are using someone else's film for your video. there is very little over lap in capabilities between the two.
Sounds cool but I think the wheels are too big. Doesn't sound like it will last too long. Who is with me?
that is a beast
also they move the front axle forward 1 ", for firewall clearence.
soooo, an exhaust package adds 140hp ??, ill have one of those please.
run a baja 1000 with it and then ill be impressed
If it ain't broke don't fix it
So a Diesel engine is going to power this monster, but why did the group at F-250R not go with a Gas engine instead?
So it's a lifted Super Duty with a wide Raptor body… not really a Raptor.
