Is it just me or did your driver side head gasket just start spraying coolant on the floor?
Interesting that he needed forged internals and a reinforced block for only 7.8psi. Many turbo 4 cylinders come from the factory at 15psi or higher.
Words do not even express how that makes me feel. Grrrrr
I'f missed this video. it's a beast 🤘
I got a boner.. is that wrong?
Make this thing a real sleeper to be proud of. Mismatching tires, bumper stickers, and mud flaps.
I want it, but in my clapped out 66 mustang.
I have discovered the definition of "beast"
This is going to be so bitchin. I am excite. 😀
You need a catch can.
Eric your like watching the walking dead. leave us on this big cliff hanger. show off the motor but no car. make us painfully wait to see it. really i enjoy the videos just cant wait to see the end
Hey Eric I go to UNOH so I noticed immediately that this was one of our dyno cells. Which instructor to you have contact with?
you will be able to haul the groceries no problem ,,,
What's making that tinny metallic tapping/rattling noise?
YEAH!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Damn, son!
i hope you have a after market block otherwise that's on borrowed time..
I knew it, that's what I heard.
youre gonna need tires on your tires when this goes in
they allow this porn on YT? lol
Hellcat Hemi still beats it.
That T5 is gonna beg for mercy
I'm pretty sure the car will run low 10's in the quarter once the suspension is dialed in here is what you need at most tracks:
10.99 1/4-mile (6.99 1/8-mile) or quicker:-5-point roll bar is okay to 10.00 1/4-mile (6.40 1/8-mile) in hardtop / t-top with un-altered floors, firewall and frame rails (wheel tubs are okay). If the floor and/or firewall has been modified, then a full roll cage is required beginning at a 10.99 e.t. or any vehicle running 135 mph or faster (regardless of e.t.). The roll cage must be constructed of mild steel or chrome moly tubing (moly can be a smaller o.d and is lighter but more expensive). Roll cage must be padded anywhere the driver's helmet may contact it while in the driving position.-Convertibles require full roll cage at 10.99 and quicker.
-aftermarket axles with positive retention (c-clip eliminators)-Transmission shield SFI Spec 4.1 at 10.99 and quicker or 135 mph and quicker (blanket is okay, no expiration date)-Harmonic Balancer SFI Spec 18.1 (no expiration date)Car needs to have a neutral safety switch Windows cannot be tinted. If you want to run slicks you need a driveshaft hoop. If your battery is in the trunk you need a cutoff switch.Radiator must have catch can. Those are general rules some tracks may have their own rules.
so much for only 350 hp!
575 at 8psi isn't bad but there is definitely more on the table
stiff valve springs and solid roller is where I would have gone but those are some pretty stout numbers non the less
with solid rollers and 10 psi 700hp is more then likely, with EFI and 12PSI 800 is likely
Better get a new oil cap, to protect ur investment 😉
love it
idk eric it looks like a massive amount of blow by coming out of the valve cover breather.
What was the fluid coming from the oil cap area and i seen a fluid being sprayed out the back? you can see it near the end of the vid.
Ah, the sweet music of a well tuned V8!
V8, never late!
That thing HOWLS dude! Nice!
Bitchin'!
I believe theyre gonna want a cage in it to run at the track now. Maybe some other stuff.
Is it wrong that I got slightly aroused by this video?
Yikes. I see massive amounts of evaporated rubber from tires in the vehicles future.
Pika Pi!!!
Haha that oil cap looks like it's just about to fly off
622 torque damm
My guess is that engine is pulling 420 hp
I bet this made Eric very happy in the nether regions of down below..
is that idling at the start? almost sounds like someone had the throttle down a bit
I.. I.. I need to change pants now… uh ah mmm
Is it weird that this gave me a bit of a chub?
Errrrrrrricccccc you're doooooinggggg it wronnnnnngggggg !!!!! ; )
How much money it usually takes to build an engine like this? Probably some thousands but how many?
When ever I see a Fairmont, can't help but think of Sloppy Mechanics. Thanks Denmah.
Sweet….. Ya gunna put that in a Honda?.
what
a
beast
omg 🙂
That thing is gonna scoot!!! wasn't expecting that!!
