A record was broken at the Professional Drag Racers Association Southern Extreme Nationals over the weekend. The event was hosted at the legendary South Georgia Motorsports Park eight-mile where the El General/Q80 racing team recorded the all-time quickest quarter mile pass by a full-bodied door slammer. They had an insane 5.406-second pass at 259 miles per hour!
Jose Gonzales was behind the wheel of the 2016 twin turbo hemi, C7 Corvette when the record was broken. He also performed several of the fastest runs recorded in Pro Boost history over the weekend. That’s some impressive racing.
