38 thoughts on “Teslas Selling at Auction are Missing $16,000 Battery Packs! Here’s how it was discovered…”
  1. So essentially there is fraudulent people buying and removing Tesla Batteries, or individual cells then replacing the cases to make it look as if the car is sold intact, manipulation of vehicles puts a bad image in the buyer's mind and will likely ruin the reputation of the auction house, as I suspect that even a repairable vehicle would be mechanically inspected by the Auction houses as part of a Carfax report, including if a Tesla Car batteries had been removed

  2. I assume that salvage auction cars are sold strictly on an. “as is, where is” basis without any representation or implied warranty whatsoever. And I’m certain that there is notice of this somewhere on the lot and written on the auction registration. That should exclude just about any claim of fraud, unless there is a state statute specifically creating a warranty for salvage vehicles, very doubtful.

But there are always exceptions in law. Taking the guts out of a transmission and then re-sealing the case is pretty obviously an instance of deliberate deceit, and the identity of the seller is known to the auction house. Solid case.

  3. What is wrong with you guys, all Electric cars of today are crap and are over priced,… go back to gasoline. in 20 years time, EV's will be better.

  4. Elon Musty has got all the yuppies, genxer's eating from his carnival barkers' hands. These lying wonders do not contribute to a tree hugging green enviroment. THE MAIN QUESTION TO ASK AND ANSWER IS:
HOW….DOES THE ELECTRICITY GET PRODUCED? ANSWER: BY EITHER NUCLEAR, COAL, GAS FIRED OR 60 PERCENT INEFFICIENT WIND TURBINE ASSISTED POWER GENERATORS. SO, IF ANY OF YOU THINK THIS "TESLA" OR ANY OTHER ELECTRIC "WONDER" IS GOING TO "SAVE THE PLANET"..YOU ARE DELUDED AND BRAIN DEAD. IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP FROM THE DELUSION AND SEE THE TRUTH.

  5. It's fraud and the insurance companies are in on it. Entire auto industry is corrupt. Seller = "Third Party" Why not give the name like on Ebay with a seller rating? Why are the bids always going to the bid limit? Why are other cars going up for auction AGAIN even after they just had an auction? Fake bids, computer bidding to limits, it's all scam. And how dare you say we need to go and inspect cars. WE ARE NOT ALLOWED. You have to be a dealer who is registered to bid!

  6. AND the new car dealers and insurance companies are never going to try to fix this system because their incentive is to sell new or slightly used cars rather than re-purposing/conditioning cars the way you do… and they reinforce the bad vibrations by letting the buyer experience this kind of stuff.

  7. Loss no they sell you the car and sell the battery too .. so they make $$$ I've seen videos of people who buy boats and rv,s who end up missing major parts … especially co part .. sucks

  8. Where's the glass in Uncle Rich's glasses? Or… what is Uncle Rich using to clean his glasses that makes them so clear? Or… What kind of lighting is Uncle Rich using that makes no glare on his glasses? 😆

  9. guess the key question is how the vehicle is advertised on the auction. "runs and drives" but missing the battery = fraud. "as-is where-is/parts only" = good luck with your new paperweight.
