  1. NEVER sell the original engine and trans. Someday "numbers matching" will matter on "new" vehicles too. Same goes for "upgrades" that are not completely "reversible". If you're going to do a "build" you may as well start with a "worthless" vehicle with a salvage title and save a ton of money up front and down the road because "upgrades" like that engine "swap" completely destroy the book value of the vehicle AND some "upgrades" guarantee you or rather the next "caretaker" a salvage title if – not when because nothing is less "sought after" than "upgraded" so-called "builds" and they have absolutely no "resale" or "trade" value – the vehicle is ever "flipped".

Anything you do that involves "surgery" on the chassis whether cutting, welding or "only" drilling holes = instant salvage title.

  2. I’d love to see this type of engine swap with a new Jeep Gladiator equipped with a 6-speed manual. Modern Hemi power coupled with a 6-speed manual would be the ultimate combination for the Gladiator. Also I might be getting a 2010 Dodge Charger with a V-6 that I would love to Hemi swap.

  3. Hey guys awesome build! I also want to complement the proper evacuation of the A/C refrigerant and use of a face shield when grinding. It’s possible to enjoy auto sports while also taking reasonable actions to protect yourself and the environment.

  4. No replacement for displacement…..stop spouting that old crap…modern forced induction is alot better….dont see many NA engined cars running with the big boys, Mclaren/Ferrari/Koenigzegg/Porsche/Hennessey etc all forced induction.

  5. Teraflex makes CV ends for stock driveshafts that have wider flanges and heavier boots for lifted Jeeps. They’re $150 a piece. Much cheaper than new shafts, and they stand up to heavy wheeling.

  6. I've got a 2014 Grand Cherokee that I'd love to see how to swap out the engine and trans. Eventually I'd like to make it an off road rig for high alpine off road out here in Colorado. Love you guys! Keep up the good work.
