  1. hello i have a 2014 silverado 1500 5.3L Z771 LT. at the moment the front have 3 inch drop by 2 inch drop spindles with oem coilover springs and belltech struts to give me a 1 inch drop. im leaning on the drivers side. plz help me thank you so much

  2. Many of the trucks fresh off the production line are unnecessarily jacked up, I think I’d just lower the truck to reach a more traditional ride height.

  3. I don’t know what y’all thought removing the bump stops was needed. Because when I did my 4"6" drop kit from IHC never took the bump stop cups off, I took the bump stop bushings themselves but NEVER had frame touch rear end at all

  4. I had a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7Hemi and I did the IHC 4"6" drop kit. That was an absolute nightmare on that rear end. Now I have a 2009 Silverado 5.3 Vortec, and I’m about to lower this one with a 3"5" drop. I actually really don’t wanna do a 4"6" kit again

I WILL SAY THIS, THE RAM IS A PAIN IN THE ASS DOING IT IN YOUR DRIVEWAY. With the IHC 4"6" kit you HAVE to cut off the rear brackets OFF the rear end. Itself. That was the most annoying part but I do appreciate dodge doing the rear suspension as they did and the disc brakes in the rear too. And also the IHC Kit you’re able to use the STOCK front shocks and springs. It was just control arm drop cups

  5. You make it look so easy to remove the springs from the Silverado. Mine are riveted in at the front of the spring, can't just unbolt them. And the rear might as well be, too, those bushings are brutal to get free.

  6. It should be noted that air springs will level your truck to eliminate squat. This is great for hauling but when towing, it does nothing to distribute weight. That's what a weight distributing hitch is for.

  7. When you tighten the ball joints and tie rods you are supposed to hold the ball joint/tie rod in place and only turn the nut. That is why they have the hex on the end. Also you should not hit aluminum to release ball joints and tie rods. They have tools for that. You can use a pogo jack to put the suspension in the position where it will be on the ground before you tighten the bolts.

  8. the new drop spindels are cast iron, the oe are alu, so adding unsprung weight, well that´s not the best way.
but i like the hemi he he
    regards
    Sören

  9. En lo personal no me gustan las camionetas con suspensión baja… Se ven desproporcionadas, pierden armonía, incluso automóviles qué de fabrica se ven bien, los terminan bajando, quedan horribles…
