  1. You also should absolutely NEVER go wet on wet with polyester primer. It cures way too quickly and doesnt let the epoxy underneath fully cure. Most epoxies take 3-6 days to fully cure. Polyester should ALWAYS be applied over a fully cured and sanded surface. NEVER wet on wet. This job is likely to completely delaminate in a few years if not soonrr

  2. If you’re laying down epoxy on bare metal, always do it on 80 grit. Anything finer than 120 doesn’t bite the metal anywhere near enough for the epoxy to stick properly. You guys really messed up that part

  3. I'm all about doing custom work. But if a vehicle is all original and rust free. It should stay all original and untouched. If there were a bunch of these trucks around in great shape then it would be okay. But im guessing this was a rare truck before they destroyed any chance of it surviving for future generations to see how they came from the factory

  4. I was digging the project but I'm not digging the debadging and d trimming I would love to have all those original parts you guys just threw away that you don't think's worth anything. To shame that such a nice original truck got ruined.
