Most gearheads are fans and can’t wait for a chance to get behind the wheel of the new Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. But there’s a handful that think it’s too much power for public roads and want its street-legal status re-evaluated, according to The Drive.

In an anonymous article featured on Automotive News titled “Keep the Dodge Demon Off Our Roads”, it’s said that “The 840 horsepower is so inherently dangerous to the common safety of motorists that its registration as a road worthy vehicle should be banned”. The article then goes on to make a comparison between the Demon and the danger of self-driving cars. So what do you think? Too much power for the streets or is this an overreaction?
