It’s rare you drive down a highway and don’t see any 18-wheelers. But Georgia transportation officials thing a separate highway for trucks might be the answer to traffic and congestion. The Georgia Department of Transportation says it would be the first of its kind and would run 40 miles from metro Atlanta to Macon, Georgia and give trucks their own road with exits and entrances. But with the project costing taxpayers $1.8 billion, there are lots of concerns. Do you think separate highways for trucks is do-able? Let us know in the comments.
