Self-driving public transportation got off to a rocky start last week. A driverless shuttle in Las Vegas crashed only hours after it was launched just off the Vegas Strip.
Nobody from the dozen passengers in the shuttle was injured when it collided with a semi-truck, probably because the top speed is 25mph. It’s completely driverless with no steering wheel or pedals but there is an attendant that rides along to make sure everything goes smoothly. Would take autonomous public transportation? The bus wasn't moving let alone 25mph. A truck driver accidentally backed into the bus. What a shit video.
