This week on PowerNation we’ve got a jammed pack show with practical tech from our shops you can use on your builds, plus Katie features this 1923 Ford Model-T Roadster and builder/owner Mike Maddock. Working nights and weekends Mike built it in two years with a Spirit Industries ’23 Roadster body powered by a Chevy 350 V8. It’s got Wire Wheels from a ’35 Ford and period correct Coker Tires. He painted it “Shoreline Beige” with “Hugger Orange” accents. Now the cool part about Mike and his hot rod, he volunteers with Franktown Automotive, a non-profit that works with young men to teach them automotive and life skills. Then the finished vehicles are donated to needy families. Plus this week Tommy drops by with an update on the 993 horsepower Chevy 406 that’s going into our 1972 Chevelle project that the guys pulled out of a barn. It’s a full block so make sure you tune in. For more on Mike’s charity visit www.FranktownOpenHearts.com
