In this episode, Ricky tears into “Mister Two” to try to figure out the battery drain issue. Unfortunately, tearing into old wiring is a tedious job, but it’s absolutely necessary! For some reason, the cruise control was extended and relocated under the steering column? What the…???

Rickie is my favorite 🤫
okay so ik this is like two years late, but what if the fuse is blown and i’ve replaced it and it keeps blowing. that would mean there’s a short somewhere right?
I may be uninteresting but definitely not boring I am very interested and want to know how they messed up so bad they screwed up their dash and taillights
Helpful AF. Good beginner tip
That was not an alarm horn. That is a pain generator. It belongs inside the vehicle. When used properly, people will NOT want to be in the vehicle. They will cause your retinas to vibrate and pain in your ears similar to when you are landing in an air plane.
It is like a dog whistle for humans.
If there was just one under the dash, the owner did not know what they were doing. I have 14 of them in my vehicle, hidden in places extremely difficult to notice or remove or even wirecut.
Ricky! This video was NOT boring! I loved it and admire your wiring knowledge! I am facing similar issues with a project MR2 and I can only be so lucky to be able to find the issues in my car!
Thanks, info is very helpful
✌🏻
Good video, I like it. Always trying to learn more! Even as simple as that is. Looking to start a project car (hopefully an MR2 which is how I just found the channel)
I really enjoy videos like this that are a little bit more in-depth. I can say that I have learned something new today.
Love peace and axle grease
You blokes are what it’s all about and so happy too Ricky is now part of your great team..

My SW20 currently is doing the exact same thing as this one when Ricky temporarily wired in dash lights. I thought it was something to do with DRLs…thanks for getting me to fix the slightly odd lights in my car XD
nice.. the office references… man of culture…
Mickey ur good but Ricky ur great! No offence Mickey. But Rick goes to the extent of attention to details, which is more informative for all ur subscribers including me! Love u guys 🤗👍🏽
Haha, been there, done that. Luckily factory wiring on the car I was repairing was fairly well color coded. It was just a slow tedious process. GL!
I hope you flock the dash!
I need help with my mr2 . My passenger window won’t go down I tried another window motor a new switch and a new switch on the drivers side and it still doesn’t work !!!!!!
Ricky, was that just the dash lights or all lights? Kinda strange to just put a kill switch on the dash lights?!? Now all lights if your going dark mode to avoid certain 👮🏻♂️, then that makes more sense…why go to all the trouble to bypass a relay when you can go to the junk yard and pick one up for next to nothing on any Toyota- they’re almost all the same. Anyway? Nice job🤙
Looking forward to seeing what you guys are gonna do with this one, planning on tearing my 1st gen 3SGE down in a bit.
Thank you I have learned how to check fuses now.
The man
You guys are rockstars 100 %
good tips. I've got a car in the shop with similar issues. switch on dash to turn on rear lights only. all other lights work with light switch. It does have an aftermarket alarm. maybe I can solve this problem. thanks
