Very nice sir
Funny guy… my rusty best friends don't have any stinking bolt holes, and it is quite comfortable rusted on right where it is!!! Will keep searching for a way to get it off.
Was going to get 4lb Tonya Harding worked great Thank you
what if there's no holes……
I’ll send a message to China and tell them to drill and tap all drums and rotors from now on!!
Helpful. Thanks.
When the couple bolts don't work. Here's what you do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLXyswWNw7k&lc=UgyWNOSQ-AD8Z-q–RB4AaABAg.9GjcdSC1agN9GpP6V_kaSK
Cool Thanks
no holes in mine Eric, now what?
Jack holes. My drums don't have these threaded holes. >: (
But some drums do not have any holes like mine
What about the drum with no holes? Can you drill and tap threads last resort???
Thanks EricðŸ‘ÂÂ
Thank you. It actually worked. I had my doubts. I was afraid I might strip the threads. Every time a metallic POP happenned I thought something bad just happened. Easy does it. Advance and retreat a bit. then advance again, always keeping the spacing even on both sides.
my 99 4runner brake drum removal bolt holes are striped out. What do I do now? Drill and tap new holes?
Yea well my jeep xj has no bolt holes.
I watched this video about 8 years ago. I just purchased a used prius which the rear brakes are drum. finally time to use this tip lol Thanks Eric!
Thanks ETCG. Working on pulling the rear drums on 2012 Sentra, this will help me.
Did this and the holding clips broke from the back I guess somehow the brakes were attached what do I do?
Dude you should see this guy, he look took a whole day: https://www.youtube.com/2330722a-9105-475c-804e-272b3bff0b0c – no bolt holes on his drum.
How does that retract the shoes in case the drum has a lip on it?
You are the best!
Yeh no vehicals really have holes to do that. I thought you might be able to use rite tipped drill n tap n put threaded holes in the drum.
My Ford Taurus doesn't have any threaded holes to work with
I came up with the quickest way to remove my rear drum brakes assembly for the 92-95 honda civic and similar drum brake systems. My video shows the step that Eric covers in his video, but also shows the entire process of removing all of the components, except for replacing the brake shoes. No more struggling with those tough springs. What used to take me up to an hour, now takes less than 10 minutes. Here's the vid (giving credit to Eric in the vid): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svF_xoLlcLw&feature=youtu.be
worked perfect! thanks Eric. no beatin or nuthin
Just what i was looking for mate . Thankyou!!
Thank you for the knowledge
Thats only 4 foreign or later models
What if its a 64 impala?
What if those holes arnt in tha drum?
This was the best I ever saw on utube
Thanks
What about a 60 yr old Ford? Removing the hub from the drum.
