  1. Having worked on cars since my pre-teens, I find your program very interesting and exciting. I was introduced to European cars through a friend with Fiat, Alfa, and Ferrari. Later I was introduced to Porsche and Mercedes. Which led to the race shop of freeman/Newman and then to teaching Auto Tech at the Univ. of New Mexico and finally retirement. Now at near 76, I enjoy reminiscing… I wish you the very best…

  2. I love this car! I need to get into this auction action…..I'm gelous of all the sweet cars you find and turn around! I'd never be able to sell any,I love them all. That Mercedes is sexy, black and shitload of power! Yup love it

  3. "Customized AMG 55 (pulled from the junkyard so you will not be able to get insurance) for less then a retail one." Gee thanks.

  4. On all Mercedes Check engine lights comes on when you disconnect the battery. You must drive the car for over 150 Miles, give and take 20 miles to reset the check engine light.

  5. do this guy put out the finish product? he just says that all he has to do is this and that but no test drive or review of the finish product

  6. It's been a whole month, no upgrades or new vids for the E55 ??? 👀

  7. I love your videos Sam. I wish you lived in California and California had better regulations on salvaged auctions. I'll need a broker to buy. My family really needs an inexpensive car. I can do the upgrades and repairs( besides frame damage and anything that is not worth the time consuming labor like having to bore out the heads due to head gasket problems). I watch you and feel inspired and I wish I could somehow have you help me so that I could do this right and not get scammed. I was thinking of going for fuel efficient Honda civics or something similar but some cars are super cheap and some aren't even though they look identical and have a r and/or d and seem fine. Then reading coparts reviews and knowing I need a broker kills me!

  8. Sam, there's an Extended Limited Warranty on your model. You can have your ESP/ABS Brake lights fixed for free under the ext. warranty! Go to MB dealer and have them check your VMI. My friend with similar year/model just had his ESP unit replaced with a brake fluid flush included and didn't cost him a dime. There is also an Extended Warranty on the fuel tank so if you tell them you smell a fuel odor around your car and also outside of the vehicle especially when tank is full, they will pop-in a brand new fuel system and possibly even a fuel pump under the warranty. Just an FYI, might help your case.

  9. Dear god, that steering wheel makes the interior look like it's been modified by a 17 year old chav from Essex.  Sam, if you're going to sell the car you need to chance that wheel or you'll drive punters away.

  10. No way anyone can repair that. It's almost as bad as a burned car with a burned shack on top of it, ripped apart with an excavator.

  11. A lot of work for only 40 HP. Modern turbo cars net more power just with a flash tune. No physical mod necessary to add 100+ horsepower, just software.
