Picking up a welder tomorrow excited to do my own
Awesome work guys! BTW, those outer caps of the axles just pop off by slipping the boots off then hitting them with a large brass deadblow hammer once you grip the axles by the shafts on a bench vise. No need to cut the axles. Anyways, love the build and keep up the great work! I wish you sold all those parts you fabricated.
i love your video bro…keep it up guys

miro tus videos desde mexicali mexico..i look your's videos from mexicali mexico
What was the reason of purpose for installing the cv joint into the hub?
U too much Tallking sir….
I get that taking the sound deadening saves weight and makes it easier to weld in a roll cage but why does everyone do it? It doesn't really seem worth it to me. I can't he that much weight and doesn't make it that much easier to do a roll cage.
DISCLAIMER, dry ice can cause Ice burn, handle carefully and properly.
Love the throtl boys. Keep it up yo. Loving the Porsche build and 350EZ
It’s a good production!!
Just found your channel… I love it! You have a new sub. Great stuff.
you guys should make an off-road build! Jeep would be sick🔥
Why didn't you just knock the axle out of the stub end and just remove the cage and pivot bearings? Then clean out bearing/axle grease. Boom your done no cutting or welding necessary!! Just 2 cents from a 20 year Honda Tech.
i own a Civic Type-R FN2 and i would love to turn it RWD, could you please give me an estimation of how much it would cost ?
Why not just take the CV apart and use the empty CV cup?
FWD CRVs have this like shaft that goes in there just to hold the bearings together. It's essentially the lopped of axel but made to go in the hub.
Just ordered a jet tag and sticker, love the new merch! 😁
I used dry ice & IPA to do the same thing in a car back in the mid 80's. I think the IPA helped get to every nook & cranny a bit better which made it easier to remove the sound deadening. Loving your projects guys👍👍
Yay! FREK content once again! Hey Mickey, are you still keeping this car once done and ran on the track? I'll try my luck if it will be given away. lol. Awesome work Throtl team!
watching a big chunk of sound deadening being removed was oddly satisfying lol 😣😂
Great work dude!
Civic wondered what had happened since then. I am looking forward to seeing how I will be reborn as a car I owned before.
You guys should really try to hook up w/ Jimmy Oakes when both your RWD civics are done! Thatd be a cool video, maybe some note comparing how you guys tackled different hurdles n whatnot..
Sounded like Ricky called the civic "freak"? like F/R platform EK? (FREK)?? Or was that a happy accident?
Please make a video on Nissan 240sx Because I love your 240sx it dumass🔥
You guys should do a Miata. Love the Throtl style.
👏👏👍
I'm so excited for more civic contenttttt
Amazing build. Keep it up.
Shoutout to the Throtl team for grinding out all these video so far of 2020. Big year for you guys!
Safelite would've saved the glass
dry ice the savior of labor saving time getting that sound deadener out is a god send same for dent removal as well heat gun to heat the dent then dry ice to pull it out for hail damage.

Thanks guys, throtl is my fave car mod channel. I wish I was less poor to buy some cool merch etc off yuz. Thanks for all your hard work and your gender inclusive shout-outs,… even though I'm probably your only female viewer, lol
Kinda wanna see Micky's hair line
Hey guys, I'm worried the gearing will be way too long in this car. The CR-V/element rear diff has a ratio of 2.5 to one because the transfer case has a built in gear reduction for the rear axle. I reckon you would want similar gearing to an s2000, which has a 4.something to one diff ratio. I don't know if different ring and pinions are available for CR-V diffs, but that would work too.
