Ford people know what they have! Every time I go to a race event you will see 20 Chevy's 10 Dodge, an 5 Fords, an somehow Ford ends up on top, or at least on the podium! I would love to drop that in a smart car! lol
Trick-Flow must have lent their wives out to yโall to get this video made.
Ported heads but not polished. So job only half done. There I is no point to port without polishing. Now with direct injecting fuel injection, port and polish are useless!
The TQ curve is outrageous. ๐ณ๐ฎ
Diesel torque from this BBF! These boys are on their game, bigtime! Thanks for another great video!
Throw this bad boy in a galaxy
Whenever you see the words, "nitros & BIG block" in the same sentence, you know you're fix'n to be entertained!
If you have a brain ford well always make more power a donkey can build a chevy
How was the oil pick up held down opposite end of the oil pump? Didn't see a mounting stud.
Did BBF 460's come with 4 bolt mains in any factory applications?
Building a similar 557 with 10.3:1 compression and aluminum SCJ heads for a 1978 LTD. Wanting it to be a sleeper like the Granada build.
this is good to know
I knew it would beat the bbc .
Anyone ever cram one of these into a Ford GT?
Any car guy/women will cherish all old, classic motors!
Ford
Awesome…… Hell yeah buddy……… Greetings from india๐ฎ๐ณ๐ค ๐ค ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐ค๐ป๐
These are way better motors than my old FE.
On pump gas is crazy thatโs a bad boy
John Kasse can build a pump gas engine that just about makes those numbers
Nice job!
BB Fords will get down w/proper parts…๐โก๐คช๐บ๐ฒ
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ !!!
You broke it in with synthetic oil?๐ฎ
Who needs a pwr stroke, no stinking diesels!๐
Bad to the bone just initial FIRE up through those headers!
Ford allday long
No 4bolt main?
Why not use Jon kaase heads for max power?
Hey Mike and Pat, did either of you know that the foot in foot pounds never changes? It should be foot pounds because of how torque is measured. At the time it was first used, which was possibly in the late 1800, the dominant beast of burden was the horse. They had a contraption that allowed an animal or engine to lift a weight. At one end of a thick rod was another one rod that was a foot in length. This was elevated from the ground. At the end of that was possibly a chain that would be attached to the weight. Do either of you know what a yoke is for an animal? It's what goes around the neck of the animal. It would be a different arrangement for an engine or an electric motor. That horizontal bar possibly had two or more bearing, which could be placed in what could be a framing for a swing. When that horse was attached to those straps and started moving forward, it would twist the horizontal tube and will additionally twist the one foot rod at the other end of it. This would allow the weight to come off the ground. That weight will determine how much twist or torque that animal had. How would they be doing that with an engine? Most of them had standard transmissions. They wouldn't use it, though. They would use the clutch instead. What would it be attached to? A flange that would act as the friction disk of the clutch. That flange would be bolted to the other flange, which would be at one end of the horizontal tube, which would have tge one foot rod at the other end of it, with the chain attached to it for the weight. That's how they, at that time, determine how much torque or twist that engine had. As you exceedingly well know, people use a dynamometer to test for horsepower and torque. Don't ask me, don't know that answer. Perhaps you could ask Google that question. It would possibly have an answer for that question. That's the reason why it should be called foot pounds of torque instead of pounds feet. No, that foot will never change.
1000hp sitting in the hallway? Dam what else you got?
The hug makes me know they care!!!!๐ค๐ป
No break in oil ?
My favorite part is where he talked over the engine noise when the nitrous hit. Such an awesome sound he talked about, and then wouldnโt shut up.
I bet this Ford wouldโve hit 850+ on motor with the AFR, Profiler, and the Trickflow 365 cylinder heads and 1200hp on nitrous.
That big block is getting into powerstroke territory. Get- R -Done
Why was the timing like tucked in his waist. Yโall are hilarious๐๐๐
E-85 would wake that up even more.
BBF BABY
Bummer this show isnโt on Dish.
holy crap!!
Off the chart. Love it
