  1. Economy stand tell me something dude….
Is that harbor freight blue I see there because everything those low life sell and I did know Schmidt the guy who started the business is made in China.. … I owned the farm in Tennessee my family came from there so don't try and lay that on me either I'm going to tell you that you should not be dealing with Chinese stuff you're just buying bullets to kill Americans….. Buy American keep the money here next time you look around you look at the faces you see the fellow tennesseans and you ask yourself how would you feel if you bought the bullet that shot that young man…. China is not your friend they're not my friend and I wouldn't accept their money.

  2. Pat is probably my favorite guy on this show ever. Not just for his tech, and ability. But also his ability to get an engine to fire on first try. Plus all those pens he has, is cool..lol

  3. I avoid giving ‘thumbs down’, so consider yourself special. This is a superficial treatment of an important subject.

Avoid Grade 5 bolts? Bwahaha! Ignorance.

  4. No welding gloves.. I like it. I think I had been welding about two years before I realised I could wear gloves, but on quick stuff they're hardly worth the trouble.

  5. Brake cleaner is bleach and solvent, carb cleaner is Acetone and toluene, Acetone is Paint thinner as they all are.
Safetyclean is mineral spirits – paint thinner, Ultrasound is really good -laundry detergent and water.

All you need is Oven cleaner for engine casting that have heavy buildup ,then Mineral spirits, lastly Acetone is reserved for removing varnish in fuel system parts. All this stuff requires Safety equipment and Adequate ventilation which is outdoors. It is all bad for the nervous system , liver, skin . eyes, and everything else. Causes cancer in California for sure.

  6. A little noise is nuthing compared to when I hade a valve head break off at 7200rpm it was inbeded in the forged piston which was sideways in the block where the cylinder used to be when I beat it out the piston was mangled but not broke anywhere tough shit I'll go forged!!!!!

  7. I know it’s for TV but when you weld without gloves, with a polyester shirt, without treated cotton coveralls or PPE it sets a bad example and looks really amateur. I’m an industrial tradesman and no one welds anything that way.

  8. ..i'd keep the crank handle, because every time you wanna Rotate the Engine, you go get the Drill..plus, it looked Smoother in Operation..that Drill was Jerking like crazy..

..also, why you dirtying your Solvent with Old Piston gunk..chances are you gotta Bore It, so chuck All That & go in with a Totally New Rotating assembly..crank too, because the Machine Shop will cost you more than buying All New Stuff..plus, you got All New Stuff..

  9. Buy a stock LS engine, open the rings, slap a turbo on it and make 600+ HP all day on stock pistons. Or if your Matt Happel make over 1000hp to the tire with some pressure and nawzz
