  1. Could really use a lightbar in front of the camper on the roof..
Having lights high like Rally cars is so you can see over crests as you are driving through trails and unfamiliar roads..

  2. Yet again, another episode of this series where they did absolutely nothing to improve the power output of the engine, service the transmission, or enhance the cooling system to account for the taller wheels/tires, all the added weight of the heavy steel components they added, along with the weight of the winch, roof rack, big spare wheel/tire, and tent. If this rig is going to spend 80-90% of its time on the road, and only 10-20% of it's time off-road, then all the shit they did to it will just make the 4Runner worse to drive most of the time. Thanks guys.

  3. So, when does it get the TRD supercharger? The 4Runner is underpowered stock, and you added at least 500lbs of stuff, so it’s gotta be painfully slow at this point. Time to make more power do it can keep up with modern vehicles. Or at least not be in their way.

  4. That roof is gonna leak like MoFo! LMAO!!! I would have opted for a bolt on application not a drill type. I guess y'all had nobody else that wanted to sponsor the build?

  5. Looks like 1 out of every 3 4runners in Southern California. Also, bad choice on bumper/winch design. If you get in a situation that you need to pull winch, in most cases you don't want to pop your hood just to reach down to turn the free spool. Probably could have clocked it to reach from the side or from the bottom.

Other than that, excellent mall crawler.

  6. Next time clean the roof channel with alcohol or similar and when you put your rivnut in either silicone the hole first or use a rubber washer to help seal around it better.

  7. I sprayed for close to 10 years, it always shocks me when people put the pre filters on the 3M masks backwards. It says right on the pre filter, which way to put it on. People still put them on backwards!

  8. Can't believe that after all the care and quality work shown you didn't clean the roof channels before attaching the support brackets.
