  1. Hey Throtl, I’m planning on customizing my 98 3000GT base model but I’m having trouble finding some websites for getting parts for the exterior and interior. What do you recommend?

  2. I don't think that front pad "fell a part" when you pulled the front caliper off. All those shims are shown in the factory service manual and should simply have some brake caliper grease in between them. Otherwise good video and subscribing for future videos.

  3. Hoping to see good things about this car. I hope to get one some day if only they didn't require so much money to be put in them😂 but hey that's project cars for ya

  4. I ran into the same situation on my Stealth when I did coilovers recently. My rear shock mount was seized as well and I had to get kind of medieval on it. I should have just used a pickle fork on it.

After prying with prybars and spraying with lubricant for a hour or so, I drilled out the rubber surround managed to separate the shock assembly from the rear trailing arm.

The lower shock sleeve was still seized on the trailing arm, so I used a cutoff wheel to slice the sleeve enough that a chisel and a hammer were able to remove the sleeve from the lower shock mount on the trailing arm.

I think using a pickle fork would have been quicker and less aggravating though.

  5. 141 in the video and I'm like pump the brakes I'm still trying to digest nothing too crazy this is a 3000GT were talking about here bro… I'm sure you know this vehicle's capabilities as far as making it a monster. If not there's a 1320 video that is a very good example of a single turbo 3000GT putting out almost a thousand horsepower. Built by a man all by himself pretty much.

  6. 3:34 Which car do you need to remove the Rotor to replace the pads on? Ive been changing my own pads on cars for 30 years and never come across a car where you need to remove Rotors just to replace pads.

  7. That's funny, I had the strut in same corner of my car give me exactly the same problem. I just ended up spraying with some penetrating oil and tapping it back into place. It popped right off afterwards. The other ones popped right off without any trouble.

  8. Just a note you don’t put any lube on those pins. They are meant to hold the pads in place not slide around freely as easily. What we do at our shop is we take them to a bench grinder with a wire wheel and clean all the surface rust and grime off to prevent them from seizing
