This Bentley Bentayga Truck started overheating randomly almost immediately after startup. It turns out there’s a Common Issue on all Audi 4.0 Turbo cars; and this problem is caused by a secondary cooling system control that can cause major damage to an expensive engine… The @HumbleMechanic joins us to explain further, @ultimaterebuilds7127 helps with the fix, and @RichRebuilds joins us for the ride!

Sometimes you can fix stuff with a screw and some tape; for those other times where that isn't enough PDS can help. PDS Debt is offering a free debt analysis. It only takes thirty seconds. Get yours at https://PDSDebt.com/SAMCRAC
You can't get enough wrist action to yank it off. Copy.
I just never liked Bentleys when I saw them on these kinds of videos, but I drove past a Continental yesterday and it looked great up close. The weird thing is that from a distance it reminded me of a 2000s Thunderbird
Porsche uses six of these vacuum control valves in the 991.1 and up 911’s that allow coolant to flow to different parts of the car. They are failing left and right. They are 100% not needed above a simple thermostat. The few seconds extra it takes to get an engine to operating temp does nothing for the environment.
0:28 the charge cooler hose has destroyed itself and your supercharger has zero coolant possibly you need to get that hose fixed and top off coolant asap
Yo Sam, are you the husband in the movie ''The Starling''?
I give $500 rn for that v 12 dodge truck
Would Rich have been more comfortable in the back seat?😳
So u cant just replace the sensor?
Liquid wrench works every time
I bet there zero Bentayga owning (wealthy) engineers
What a terrible piece of engineering. A simple electric water pump with variable speed would quite literally have solved this issue, without the complexity / failure modes. Electric water pumps have been relatively reliable for the last 10-15 years – even on performance vehicles… or at least more reliable than this… seems like a no-brainer to me.
Edit: Wouldn't even need to be variable speed. The ECU could monitor engine coolant temps when cold; and literally cycle the pump on or off as necessary till it reaches the desired temperature; then leave it on for regular at-temperature operation.
The donut shop had to know yall were fake cops when you didn't order at least a dozen😂ðŸšâ€ÂðŸÂ©
I thought we were going to fix the AC
This is why older cars are way better than new cars! Simple to work on
Rich is one of those friends you both love and hate.
I would have put a 5 dollar hemostat on the hose.
Sam, I made my first million when I was a younger salesman buying police cars , going to the wrecking yard an buying complete interiors out of same model wrecked high line cars, sometimes I’d buy the nice wheels also. When finished an for sale, I could tell people it was a police car and they didn’t believe me. I’m 70 yrs old an there’s a cop Tahoe disassembled all over the back yard right now. Going to the yard tomorrow looking for black leather , I’ll think I’ll keep this one for a driver.
Friends don’t let friends drive Volkswagen!!
I have the 8 cylinder VW Phaeton which has the non supercharged Audi V8 in it. It is now 20 years old and still purring like a cat. Best car I've ever owned.
Don't call this car a TRUCK.
When you talk about someone with special attribute, I don'ylt think about Zak, I think about the step mom.
What you want for the ZL1 Camaro?😀
Thanks! I have a 2019 bentayga it overheated yesterday and I watched your video last night. I did the exact same thing you did and it worked!
Thanks a lot save me thousands!!
I want this mira
It actually ISN'T an Explorer – the police vehicles are in fact Ford Interceptors and you have to search for some parts that way vs explorer.
I would use a mini vice grip. Crimp hose shut and just leave it there. Granted, not neat solution fir a Bentley, but easy.
Those caterpillars made me laugh ðŸ˜ÅÂ
How can it be this junky already?
@5:20 Excellent analogy.
Cool. Humble mechanic! Havent seen him in a while.
Not a truck…..
My rental Hyundai Elantra had that cruise control option.
The most unique content about cars on YT. You got some Brazilian vibes in your hacks. That screw is what we call "gambiarra" here. There are many experts in gambiarra here in Brazil
I need a “Ford Explorerâ€ÂÂ. 😂
What a hideous looking piece of crap.
French cruller is actually a sought after donut at dunks you’re from mass rich and you didn’t know that
There is no way I am ever doing that driver assist semi autonomous crap… what is the point of driving a car if the car drives you? That’s just owning a very expensive bus and lying to yourself.
The wife analogy … uh… really helped me understand… thanks Sam!!
thanks Pal, that was a very enjoyable video ðŸ‘ÂÂ
what a fucking "Bentley Truck's" 😂😂
Where is Americas favorite and wonderful "stuck" stepmom?
😂😂…â€ÂÂwrist action to yank it offâ€ÂÂ…😂
Dude, it's not a Truck!
you know they talked about Rich in the back of the explorer, and thought better of it….
