If you’re a fan of wagons and high-speed cars, this is for you. The Mercedes AMG E63 S has claimed the title of fastest wagon at the Nurburgring. It lapped the track in 7 minutes, 45 seconds. That makes it 13 seconds faster than the previous record holder, the Seat Leon ST Cupra.
The E63 S has a twin-turbocharged V8 under the hood that puts out 603 horsepower and while it’s not the quickest car by any means, it’s still faster than the fastest SUV on the track. 1 point for wagons, 0 for SUVs.
