  1. This video is the one that convinced me to spend the $$$$ on the 4-link system that was so simple and easy to install. BUT, after weeks of issues, James Duff inc. is not standing behind its product. The manufacturing from them is quite literally terrible (pics available – reply to this post). The axle truss I received was 8 degrees off , from their prescribed pinion angle range. How do you solve this? cut it apart and re-weld it. The truss on the back of the differential is not parallel to the upper arm tabs on top. the rub? Yes it does… literally only the one point on the axle truss rubs on my gas tank. Can fix it? sure, with more grinding and welding, of course. But why spend your money on a product that is supposed to be ready out of the package , and so is poorly made you've got to grind it apart to fix it? I wish I didn't. On the bright side the finish / Powdercoat was beautiful when it arrived. too bad all of that got destroyed fixing all the manufacturing issues!! AND after weeks of trying to work this out with Duff, they are too busy now, and not standing behind their product. Help yourself – buy a kit that you can weld together so you haven't wasted your money on finish that you had to grind off and repaint anyway. Not to mention it will save you time too. You won't have to grind finish welds … only tacks! and I do know that 2 broncos are the same. But I can also put 2 straight edges on a truss and see that I can make better with less in my own garage.

  2. I had a 74. Rust is an issue. Older Broncos had less rust. The later vehicles used cheap steel. They rusted from the inside out.
You can buy everything including a frame. So why not start with good new steel and build as a kit?
I cursed my 74, but miss it. 🙁

  3. I love the 1966 to about '76 Bronco's. The main reason that those fords cant climb is that pre-independent radius arm suspension that allows very little flex, especially once poly bushings are installed. Same with 2008 era f250's.

  4. Is this really a restored mod or a kit Bronco . That should have a new vin number . Not a vin tag from a old Bronco . Vin tags are not to be removed from a motor vehicle . It appears that the old frame was tossed . So the frame number to original Bronco is gone as well .
