I love watching this show when you folks upgrade the motor, mostly the top end, because it’s not too hard to do for the weekend racer in most of us.
It's hot cause you dummy's have the cooling fan blowing into nothing. The cooling air enters the radiator from the bottom.

Wish they would have mentioned that the 02-04's were 405 w/ a slightly more aggressive factory cam. The part #'s for the 01 camshaft and 02-04 are different.
I always just pull the engine on LS engines. Takes 2 hours max, I just prefer working on engines on a stand that I can swivel around.
The hardest part of that job is removing the steering rack. You did not show that part.
lotta HP gain for little money, nice job. I have an 03 Z06 that I purchased in 2012. Original owner had Les Stanford Chev in Dearborn build up the engine and supercharge her. She's got just over 580 rwhp and loves embarrassing newer sports cars doing rolls. I can't do digs because she still is wearing her stock rims and tires.

Get the oil up to operating temp first before the pulls. The oil is thick when cold and increases the drag.

Back in 2004, I bought a black C5 FRC, second owner. Awesome car. My wife didn't enjoy having the heater on fullblast while in crawling CA traffic. I stupidly sold it in 2013… I'm getting another though.

You shouldn't be using acdelco oil for a corvette. At least Mobil 1. I prefer amsoil.
This year I'm going to start driving mine again, just going to put new radiator and hoses on and look at headers
The 150 top speed is crap, a stock c5 maxes out around 160.
