I gave away my Mustang and you helped. Well, some of you helped. Those of you that follow me on social media that is. I cover the story in detail in the video.
Zachary Kelley is now the new owner of the Mustang. I’m very happy that it went to one of my viewers. Even more happy he was able to come and tow the car away.
I like giving away cars. I’d like to do more of it.

I feel bad for liking the video but he’s sad so now I’m confused 🤣🤣🤪
Hoping to see Zachary's finished product on your channel.
I did not expect Zachary to look like this, i like his trailer though.
Enjoyed the pissing off BMW drivers! I had a 78 Fairmont with factory 139 hp 302 cu in (4.9 L) V8. It was the ugliest car I ever owned a metallic green four-door with a fake tan landau roof, but I think I've never laughed and smiled so much at the "next" traffic light…keep up the entertaining and education vids Eric!
Eric,
I hated that Ford Fairmont for the longest time. Especially during the onslaught of the videos, but, I have to say, it has grown on me. It is a super cool car and as a perfectionist myself I can appreciate the work you've put into it. I'm glad you like it and I'm glad it has been shared with the world.
Cheers
I was born in Flint also!
So I owned a 84 mercury capri (basically a rebadged mustang) with a 3.8 v6 with TBI. That was hands down the biggest piece of shit car I've ever owned. That 3.8 was horrible. I also had a 80 pinto (lima 2.3) and my current daily is a 5.0/AOD. Both of those were/are very solid motors but dang, that 3.8 was a PITA!
I remember when you got it!
He's one of those guys who's great to watch… even if cars aren't really your thing. Long live ETCG.
if you can still hear the radio in the cab, the exhaust does not drown.
Glad it wasn't a notchback.
Man!!… i keep going back to Zach's reaction when Eric gave him the car and he says Thank you so much!! Thats was awesome!! True moment! 👠Congrats Zach awesome video!
Just… Awesome
So nice to do this for him … nice one Eric 🙂
I'm looking for a beater car
Go check out his old video intros XD like his honda vid from 2009🤣🤣🤣🤣
When did you fuel inject the Fairmont?
I wish i was that lucky guy. Meet the legend and hear the Fairmont would be something to be remembered for a long long time.
Today Im giving my foxbody dust shell filled with junk away. But he doesn't know that im gonna give it to him free of charge!
Holy crap Peter Griffin where's Stewie
"The loud button."
That now has to be a thing on your channel.
Also, holy shit. I like the master plan. Offer to sell it, but then sneakily give it for free. Nice way of thinking, Eric.
I have a request/question for you, Eric.
As someone who got into all of this between 2-3 years ago, learning in part from you.. I now feel comfortable diagnosing and repairing even relatively advanced issues.. But I have one major problem that affects every job:
It's still a pain in the d to get things open and back together. Whether it's rust, odd proprietary clips, being at odd angles, or just having a tool that 'does the job' but is not exactly the best tool for said job..
So: Do you have any overarching tips regarding problem solving your way through a disassembly or assembly? Because getting it open is frankly the hardest part of nearly repair.
That's cool man , can't wait to hear ya on the JS After Dark Show. ðŸ‘ÂÂ
â¤â¤â¤
Question, shouldn't he have had tail lights on the back of the car?
Half the commenters talkin shit on this post probably cant even set points 😂
So you gave him the car, please tell me he at least offered to take you out to lunch or dinner to show how thankful he is to your generosity.
Very generous of you sir. Well done.
You're awesome Eric!
Oh my lord. It's been 5 years? I remember the day you got that mustang like it was yesterday. I cannot believe it's been 5 years.
Edtheoldtechguy suggested your channel. Good stuff!
Peter Griffins of the Family Guy got a free car? I thought he was a cartoon . Oops, I mean Zachary Kelly.
Congrats on have something to do during the Corona virus close down.
You Da Man ERIC! Would love to swing past your shop someday… you're videos helped me when I was in automotive school way back in 2012… Thank you
Lucky dude! Good job Eric!
😎ðŸ‘ÂÂðŸÂ¾
Hey Eric what exactly does the loud switch do and how do you hook it up. Thinking of doing it on my 98 chevy suburban k2500 5.7l vortec 4×4
Does the fuel injection system have a dashpot setting? If it dies when you rev it you may need to program it to raise the idle for a few seconds so it doesn’t stall. Like the old dashpots on carbs would slow the return to idle.
That ending ðŸ˜â€Â
Hey Zach that ugly Nose cone has to go, 86 is much better in my opinion
Hmmm i guess Peter Griffin's not that charming in real life ðŸ¤â€Â
You gave your car to Peter Griffin
