I know this isn't a Subaru vehicle video, but Subaru is who I know best and maybe another car guy with a Subaru will stumble upon this comment; Subaru does the same thing with parts. Word to the wise; bearings are from either NTN or Toyo, radiator is from Koyorad, a good OEM parts supplier for general stuff like hoses and pullies is Gates and all accessories like AC compressor or alternator/generator are manufactured by, no foolin', Mitsubishi.
U should have done the water pump while you were in there. BMW's are usually cylindrical and sealed with an o-ring and not hard to change. Otherwise it'll be failing soon…
That special tool?? It’s a BFS… big f***ing screwdriver 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oil filter housing o ring. 12 dollar part 1k labor
The time has come for the whole car market rip of organisation to be buried if not electric will sort them out. Also this old car fiasco is just as bad at ripping off customers.
Good luck! I have dealt with several flood cars in the past and every one of them was an endless money pit, mostly of electrical problems that keep popping up as corrosion moves through the system. One day things work, the next day they don’t.
Sam, love your videos. Here where I leave we have too many BMW. I always wanted a Stick shift but are none. Sinse I can't afford a new one I would like to buy a used one that I can fix. Any points on what's a good model to buy? Greetings from Hilton Head Island SC.
I can't believe you teased us with the wheels….
No wonder step mom says you have an issue with the finish lol
Why cut a piece of the bumper when you can take the gas filler door to the paint shop as a sample?
Viton is an okay oring for that application, but I would have gone with a Silicone (Red/Orange) oring. Would stand up better against the static pressure and has similar heat resisting properties. The original was probably a black nitrile/buda oring, which understandably disintegrated like it did.
almost all tappet covers take rtv at the half moons mate.
The fan clutch is a mechanical part 😉
Reset your sunroof !! it's out of calibration and not sitting flush with the roof when closed.
Good content. New Channel found. Subscribed
I totally dig watching these videos. I buy ford though because the maintenance is less and the breakdowns are also less. Well, and the parts less as well. When I say less, I mean cost less and and hardly needs to be worked on. Again I love German cars and the glamour. I am hooked on these vids.
Talking part is much more than action part, please try to reduce that. Thanks.
1 million O Rings = 180 pcs..
Me: got it
Entertaining videos in my opinion what would make them that much better is if you show a little more into detail on the mechanical repairs you do instead of fast forwarding it
So what price did Tavarish quote?
I spent about 8 hours replacing those pulleys and belts. I didn’t think I’d need the fan clutch tool. Big mistake. I also cracked the thermostat housing so be careful!!!
Dude, you are amazing. How do you do so much work and still shoot, edit and post vids?? Keep it up loving your channel.
6:10 ChrisFix would be proud of you🤣
you need the $20K to pay for your gas and insurance for the first year
Funny thing is you didn’t even know the wheels were backwards. All m class come with staggered wheels, please stop driving BMWs you don’t belong Biden boy.
The hud in red and change the rear lights the interior in carbon and the car gone to be perfect
@Samcrac what was the name of the shop? Great example of how the little things can be taken care of but all too often folks abandon it and buy new car problems.
