Engine Power has used Race Gas fuel concentrate in their builds for years because it works! Race Gas is a fuel concentrate that can be added to pump gas to raise the octane a full 4 points per 2 ounces of mix. That means you can take 93 octane pump gas and mix it up to 105, replacing the need for distilled race fuel.

There’s a mixing table on the back that lets you tailor your octane what you want and need. And the nice thing is you can mix it anywhere there’s a gas pump and it’s catalytic converter sage.

For demonstration, Pat adds 3 ounces per gallon to 87 octane pump gas which will bring it up to 93 octane. After pouring Race Gas in simply shake the container to make sure it mixes completely.

  1. 3 ounces per gallon? So 60 ounces, almost a half gallon, for a 20 gallon tank?

    What's the extra co$$$t???

But I'm assuming this is for 'racing heads', and not just for we normal, drive to work and the grocery store drivers just looking for improving low octane gas/better performance.

(And how much does it cost? If they said, I sure missed it.

Never mind. I looked it up. It's over a dollar an ounce… So almost $70 Extra dollars a tank… 😏. I'll hafta pass. Definitely for 'pedal to the metal folks' 😄.)

  2. I have a 388 Stroker 12 to 1 compression. Solid cam 533/555. World heads 750 Holley carburetor. Hooker Headers. With a turbo 400 transmission with a 3000 stall can I run it on pump gas. I normally run 113 to 116 race fuel

  3. Luckliy here in Australia we have 98 octane at the pump, so just throwing a Nulon Octane booster mix in the tank takes it up to about 102…you can feel the difference

  4. I'm wondering how much octane I should have if I want to run 7 pounds of boost on a Ford 408W that has 9.4:1 compression ratio. Both with and without an intercooler.

  5. This is complete unscientific data. AKA Propaganda. There is nothing made on the planet today you can add to refined liquid fuels and do this. Thank the Gods of the editing room.
    What complete bullshit

  6. Wow. I never would've thought about putting a different label on ACETONE and calling it Racegas and marketing it to the masses. . I guess that's why I'm never on Shark Tank.
Now you know. 2 ounces of ACETONE does the exact same thing.
