In this short tutorial, I show you how to measure offset using my 17″ OZ Fittipaldi, 3 Piece wheels as an example.

Steps:
1. Loosen lug bolts
2. Jack the car up safely
3. Remove wheels
4. Measure overall wheel width and backspacing
5. Assume flange thickness (because you can’t see it with the tires mounted) at 1″ TTL
6. To calculate offset, perform the simple equation.

Center – Backspacing where Center = Overall Width – Flange Thickness
