In this episode, Mickey (@mickeyandrade) takes us through the install process of a Perrin Oil Cooler: http://www.throtl.com- The PERRIN Performance oil cooler will reduce engine oil temperatures and extend engine life. Some engines do not have an adequate factory oil cooler and therefore runs hotter oil temperatures then other performance vehicles. The PERRIN oil cooler tames oil temperatures keeping them at a consistent 85-90C (185f-194f) where the engine makes the most power. Keep your HP consistent with a PERRIN oil cooler. Thank you to Perrin for sponsoring this video!

Did you have to mess with the thermostat in the oil block to get it to open? The cooler I have in my sti doesnt seem to do anything, my temps are still 200-220.
Did you have a leak issue with this kit?
Does the core drain once the vehicle is turned off? If it does, does this increase the amount of time the engine runs dry on startup?
If I were the mount a oil cooler in front of the AC condenser, which side of the condenser should I mount it, passenger or driver side, so it least affects the ACs cooling ability??
FYI, There is no good mounts for the cooler, so it will be press against the condenser.
Yooo!!! my scuby bro gave me a sticker that is your logo and now I know what it is and where it's going. On the STI ASAP. Nice vid and community 👍🏼
Bad recording one hand camera holding
Mi Subaru drop a lot water from the muffler could be oil cooler Ned to be change it please answer to me because I don’t want to spend money to change it
What about the hoses.. just over the col·lectors.. thats is not dangerous? It could be soo hot.. more than 100? Someone with knowledges here?
What if you have a front mount inter cooler how can you out the oil cooler
I just pulled off my oil cooler to replace the oil cooler gasket. It’s an 02 wrx. Do you know approximately how much coolant I’ll have lost since I didn’t cap the hose? Will 1 gallon of fresh 50/50 be enough to top it back off? Thanks!
Really cool video 😀 Just one question, the hot oil line goes in on the top of the oil cooler or the bottom?
Cool kit but waaaay over priced, you can buy a decent short block for the same price 😫
nice video but I guess his shirt more important than his hands.
I was so pumped on buying this for my WRX and then I saw that calm cool price of over $700. Good god
The wrx really doesn’t need an oil cooler when there’s really no power mods. I have an 05 wrx and it’s never gone above operating temp even when I’m ripping it
So every time I see the supra I cross my fingers in hopes that you guys are gonna make it the next giveaway car would love to own one all over, mine was the 1984 celica supra and sadly I had to sell it do to medical reasons. I extremely enjoy watching you guys work super clean work
Yep got a huge setrab oil cooler on my vr4 and its amazing.
Think would look better if all badges were removed
Throtl vip #BA squad 👍😊
BIGGER TURBO BIGGER FUEL INJECTORS LETS GO BWAAAPPPP CHOOO CHOO CHOO 😂
time to get your beard trimmed too mickey!
Mickey u are flyin man!!!! Bossin out videos constantly, really enjoy the channel. 😈
You can't go 1 horn, each horn is a different tone which need each other to sound properly
The apron almost looks like a sparco t shirt with red lines for design
This channel is blowing up
Mickey i know you may not see this however, DO NOT USE THE BLUE SUBARU OIL FILTER ONLY USE THE OEM BLACK one, the blue one (even though it is oem is not up to par and will sacrifice the life of the engine). Please upvote so that he can see this.
Bless.
It's coming along very nicely. You throttle guys are kicking ass
If you plan on getting a fmic it would be cool to put the oil cooler up in the hood scoop
Lay off them monsters 😂 ff
Both horns should be kept, the reason that most cars have 2 is because each one has a different tone, creating dissonance which drastically improves the effectiveness. Plus they look really cool.
Did you notice that the original filter on the car was a Mazda RX-7 filter (newer model)? Should have stuck with it. #TokyoRokifilters
To anyone at throtl which oil cooler is better this one from this video or the missimoto one?
Horns or oil cooler 🤷🏻♂️ lol
these perrin parts are making the suub look like a civic. easiest installations ever.
How about using standoffs for the horn bracket.
You need both horns They are High and Low (usually) and blast in harmony
Keep both horns, try and move the oil cooler please.
Blackout the headlights next!
