Regular maintenance on your vehicle helps to keep it running well and longer. And sometimes greasing the suspension and steering components is overlooked. But here’s a few steps on how to do it and tools that will make the job easier!
You’ll need a grease gun to get started and Lock-N-Lube has one that we like to use here in the shop. It has a long, flexible hose which makes getting in hard-to-reach spots an easy job. It also features a locking coupler on the end with a unique sliding sleeve that’s activated by a thumb lever. It locks, stays on, and prevents any leaking so you don’t have to align it and use two hands. Couplers from Lock-N-Lube are convenient in that they attach to any grease gun.
Before you get started, wiping down the fittings with some brake cleaner will help stop any loose dirt from clogging up the fittings. Then just apply your grease and when you see it come out of the part, you know you’re done. So don’t forget lubrication next time you’re doing maintenance on your ride! Sorry, what tool do I need to grease my stuff?
I got a lock-n-lube grease gun…….I'd have paid twice what I paid for it, they are the best grease guns out there.
Nifty little tool they're promoting. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a little more info along the lines of tips for getting a good seal with a normal adapter, when/how often to re-grease components, and what types of grease are appropriate for suspension/steering vs bearings and so on….. you know, useful information before someone goes and fills their ball joints with the wrong type of grease.
Good vid
Excellent presentation. Thank you. 😊😊
Horrible. It's an add for a grease gun.
I really thought I found a good video, but it was an ad. Shame.
Thanks for wasting my time.
3 minutes of your life you can't get back
Thumbs down. I'm not irritated that you're trying to sell a product. I'm irritated because your title states only "how to grease your suspension".
lol scam title freaks
It’s an ad. Don’t waste your time
I personally haven't seen a greasing nipple on a modern vehicle (some aftermarket ball joints actually has those, but that's not an oem and beyond the point). But then again, USA still keeps producing cars with LEAF SPRINGS in 2021, so why am I even surprised…
So this video had really nothing to do with greasing the suspension and had everything to do with the tool your promoting.
Thanks for the advertisment
Are you gonna tell us how it’s done or you’re just advertising!
So it's a neat commercial, but no info on the actual procedure to lubricate, especially places without fittings.
That 90 degree attachment is badass. Might have to get one
These tech pieces are much better content than the usual click bait crash videos.
