How To Fix Exhaust Rattles – EricTheCarGuy

1. I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee with an internal rattle in the muffler. I was looking to replace it. Do you think Th could adapt this fix to use on a muffler?

8. I use a rubber mallet to check for rattles. Makes the sound travel naturally so u can pinpoint them all. Just donf smack it so hard 🤣

15. Thanks. I hope it is the same problem with my car, and not the resonator (that was changed a year and a half ago). I get a similar sound around 2.000 rpm and around 3.000 rpm.

21. slip a piece of aluminum or steel shim under the clamp..
