There are four basic elements that affect an engine’s performance: spark, fuel, air, and lubrication. We’ll show you how to improve each of them WITHOUT cracking open your powerplant.

So 750 it is got it
what would be fun to see is you doing a ford 2.8 and 2.9 liter and try getting a 200 hp na and without breaking the bank and see hoe much your knowledge could be applies
My cousin does dirt track racing on 420ci and he explained to me that the oil viscosity doesn’t really make horsepower difference but you need low viscosity, thin oil when you’re running 9000 rpm the whole race. because the oil has to flow the engine at high speeds without restriction.
Put a parts list up with the prices. Are we spending $1700 for 28HP?
My 283 .30 over with a cam 750cfm carb and K&N power pack heads makes more power lol
They did nothing with spark. Wires, coils, spark plugs are still ignition stuff too
What size cam do I need for my bronco 2 -2.8 v6 ford
You should have begun with stock iron exhaust manifolds.
Carb test without AFR data is nearly pointless.
1 million subscribers. Not today buddy😅😅😅😅😅😅
Why do people talk weirder the more viewers they have? Like a news anchor lol
You should try X1R in the oil. It really does impregnate the metal surfaces and reduce friction. On my own car it immediately started quicker, ran cooler, revved higher, added 5mph to top speed (155 mph) Car is an Alpine V 6 GT atmo. After 8 yrs in storage without being started or driven it started first time. One of the local gas staions had racing fuel at the pump as it was next to a lake where motor boats of all types were regularly exercised. The gas station owner told me he did a science experiment with his kid for a school project. He set up a bearing and tested the effect of the X1R. He said it really does impregnate the metal. V8 Supercars in Australia use it and they get 300 more rpm, 6 more horsepower and when stripping the engine ZERO wear. Apparently NASA found this stuff in the first place and it was on a visit to Nasa that an Australian Supercar Team owner and former F1 driver came across it.
Couple more things I would have liked to seen in this video but let's not get on to that let's get to the real matter here… I watch the show for years it used to be on Saturday and Sunday in case you missed it or had a camping trip or a stupid NASCAR race like so many of us did.. also the hosts were the same, we got to know them and like them… And then you changed it all up now there's new hosts where the hell is Mike ???? So I'm thinking you need to get this on free TV again like it used to be.. find some host that's nice and young and wants to stay there for 20 or 30 years. Then come back and asked me to resubscribe. Until then good luck and have a nice day
There are soooo many people that would say "900 cfm carb is way too big for a stock 305" and you just proved them all wrong
Pipe cold air to it from the fender if you can.
In high school I had a 94 f150 with the HO 302 and worked it into the 250 hp range to manage 35 inch tires. Now my nephew in high school with a hemi dodge pushing factory 400 hp needs no work to turn 37's. We have different struggles. Lol
He said horse pressures 😂
Saw msd distributor and vacuum line plugged. So what was initial timing at 2000 2500 rpm
With that intake was there a cam swap earlier?
What about an msd module, and gapping the spark plugs
Just the content I like to see
Stop saying yeah like you know it all, youngsters need to shut your trap and just listen when a real engineer is talking.
I like the air filter test but I'm curious about engine bay heat VS outside temp what ones do best
The factory air cleaner, but unrestricted and made dual snorkel….interesting how it gives a torque peak right around movin speed 3,000 rpm
Don’t forget compression
Should have used something besides a 305 that's the worst motor chevy ever made
And I was wondering if my modified 350 would be ok with a 750.
I would love to see a test on power mods that are greatest benefit for fuel economy on a 5.7 litre Chev, SB. I know headers and air filters are great but are other mods good for fuel economy?
that can put in the dodge engine
He’s voice still sounds the same 💪 💯
Air, Compression, Fuel, and Spark. Suck, Squish, Bang, Blow.
You don't have to have lubrication, but it helps, it does help. 😀
When are you going to do a vidio on a 4 cylinder and give it more hp especially a Nissan frontier.
My question; As you increased the cfm of the carburetor what jetting did you run? Did you increase jets as you increased cfm?
Wow awesome 👌
