I had already made calls to the broker and was preparing to buy this Mercedes S-Class, until I spent $4 on a report and found out more information!
*At 6:36, I spoke in error, I meant 1 month later.

Everyone who's looking for "that website," look at the part of the video where I am showing the carfax; look at the address in the browser window 😉

IF YOU HAD THE PLATE NUMBER I WOULD USE THIS FREE SITE:
https://www.vehiclehistory.com/license-plate-search.php
I knew a girl in the 80's that wrecked the same car three times. In fact, she wrecked every car she owned at least once.
Is this the same car that vtuned rebuilt on his page???
Hey Sam, I really like your videos, very entertaining and informative. I can’t help but comment, I did this for 37 years. You are doing a good job.
The car had a rebuilt title, it will always be rebuilt. Therefore, when it was sold, a rebuilt title was issued.
Also,a lesson I learned ,never, never, buy a used s class mb. When the warranty is expired, the car falls apart.these cars u part outnumber not rebuild.
Stop calling the bumper re-inforcement a crash bar!
The best one at Copart is "previous repair"! Read that as run to the hills, its fucked.
Very useful.
Agree $40 for a carfax is ouutrageous
Save your $4. You can get it for free at vehiclehistory.com.
Thanks for this one. It goes to show that there are possibilities that someone is playing VIN swap games or other things that can leave a buyer really holding the bag. The video's on how to investigate a car's history are priceless.
This comment won’t get pinned but great videos and keep up the great work.
The car your talking about in this video should be crushed by now because of the two total losses. Putting a lot of work after the second one isn't worth doing due to expensive parts and had collision insurance after the first time it was totaled! After the insurance company totals the car the first time, the next owner shouldn't get collision insurance when insuring the car.
there is also a site I saw on utube that does it for free check that one out
Shouldnt it have reconstructed like title?
Is it me or he just showed the website right there lol
so u recommend carfax report because its more detailed than vehiclehistory.com?
i miss videos like this
I wouldn't trust CarFax. Important details can be expunged from the reports by the manufacturer and or dealership.
Love learning all this
love this video, super helpful. More power to you !
Have fun!!!
