  1. on any build, a great way to mark the feet of a cage before hole sawing the floorboard is to spray paint around the tube. It makes a perfect mark without messing up a sharpie!

  2. Maybe I wasn't paying attention why did you have to drill the hole through the floor? Did you go underneath and weld around the hole to the plate? Seems like you could have just welded the plate without the holes.

  3. Did you actually look at the rule book for the series you want to race in? Your cage isn't even close to being in compliance in either ARA or NASA, meaning you won't be able to get a logbook. This means you won't get to enter a real stage rally with the car without significant cage modification. All this means you are stuck in rally cross, where the cage is just unnecessary weight. The next point is that adding a turbo puts you in Open2WD, where you are competing with pro built Fiesta R2's and BRZ's. All your work will be to race for not last. It's still fun, but gets old after a while. The take away here is to READ THE RULE BOOK before you start your build. Cut out the cage, gut the car to make it as light as possible, and thrash it in Modified Front in rally cross. The car will be pretty competitive and you'll have lots of fun.

  4. This is the absolute funniest thing I’ve ever seen a bunch of good old boys playing with things they don’t get priceless. Just remember you don’t put backer juice in the oil.

  5. Everyone is all "swap this, swap that" just do whatever ya'll want. Just know there is a TON of Honda swaps that have full support, from H series, B series, K series, J series, and even enhance D series. Hasport/VTEC Academy is a great place to check what can go where and maybe how to find it. Enjoy!

  6. Should have bent some plates 90° to put under the cage so you can weld to the thicker inner rocker panels cause flat plates on those thin floorboards ain't enough if you roll that thing at 90+ mph
