Everyone’s been waiting for the official Jeep pickup truck. And it’s finally being put in to production but you still have awhile before it’ll be sitting in your garage. If you just can’t wait, a company called American Expedition Vehicles is building a Wrangler-based Brute Double Cab. But you’ll have to move quickly because they’re only taking orders until March 31st.
Fair warning though, an AEV Brute won’t come cheap. They start at around $40,000 but you do get a lot for your money. AEV adds the composite bed and lengthens the frame. There’s also an added suspension, Warn winch, off-road lights, 35” tires and an upgrade under the hood. They’ll replace the standard 3.6-liter with a 5.7 or 6.4-liter Hemi V8, if you’re willing to pay for it. Would you be happy with a Brute instead of waiting on an official Jeep pickup?

Misleading information. AEV has been building the Brute for years starting with the TJ Brute concept in 2003 and then the Brute Double Cab (JK based) 8 years later in 2011. The video makes it seem like this is a spur of the moment limited run of builds. Also the conversion starts at 40K, but you have to provide the vehicle.
I doubt AEV will stop building Brutes.
This is for someone who wants "Look at me! I have too much money!"
40k is the base price for the conversion the hemi costs another 30k on top of that full of misinformation
It's not 40k for the base model, it's 40k for the base conversion, you still have to buy a JK Unlimited before they can do the conversion to it. It would cost you at least 80k to get the AEV truck.
lol how about I wait for the jeep model and enjoy life 👌
Bring back the Scrambler
Sounds like you can take $20k and just build your own and it will be what you want.
That is $40k after the cost of a base Jeep.
