One of the most famous Chevy squarebody trucks was the K10 from the 80’s action TV show “Fall Guy”. As a tribute to Colt Seavers (Lee Majors) and the squarebody community, Music City Trucks set out to build one of the finest Chevy K10s you’ve ever seen, “Faux Guy.” Plus, a real stunt truck from the show paid us a visit!

I really appreciate this kind of content, but
The reason you twist brake lines is not shock absorbing as the primary reasons. It's a secondary "gift" to an innate engineering design.
The twists are a poor man accumulator. If you sprung a leak in your brakes, those twist hold enough fluid to apply the brakes a few more times, even if you got to pump them to stop.
You want as much line just after the master cylinder. If it was strictly a vibration reason, you'd see twists at other points constantly. Where you see coils are at collector points in the system.
You not wrong at all, but I would have twisted the coil vertically so if a hydraulic leak happened, it would have a harder time to gravity feed the system dry.
I hope this makes some sense

I put lots of cab corners on never cut your self short always cut it higher I cui them up buy the molding , look at the inside of that corner see the rust, that goes up on the inside. just saying
Two funguy fakers !!!
Always like to look at the GMC better Plus they have that double headlight.
Heather Thomas from the Fall Guy was at the Providence Civic Center Custom Car show in 1985. She was signing autographs for people and I bought her a rose before the car show and brought it to her. I lost count of the hugs and lip kisses she gave me. Was definitely a high point in my life growing up. She was such a nice person.
Why ddnt brandon burke get any credit!! He did the paint!!! He deserves preps for the end result!
I am wondering why you didn't clean the frame up before mounting the new parts
How does every channel have a set up with the same two mechanics lol. So confusing.
Where did they get those rims can't find them anywhere??
WTH. the build went from season 2, episodes 17 & 18 to episode 19 they are working on an F 150??!
Way to lose an audience guys.
I have a 86 GMC I am rebuilding and it is expensive.
so glad i kept future serviceability in mind when i ran my new exhaust. i had to put a new converter in last week and i dropped the trans and transfer along with both shafts and the crossmember as a single unit. made it real fast and mess free. for some reason i hate disturbing exhausts when doing work
You r a wonderful person..from one mechanic to another u do the job on point..I wish I could donate to your cause soo bad but i am basically broke from my job at 63 years old..I had a shop and gave sooo many free or serious discounts to many and I slept at night just like you do I'm sure..keep it up kid..I don't think anyone here is doing what u do.. thats the scary part.
What does a complete build like this run ? Estimate ? I’ve got my dads 87 square body and want to try doing the same overtime .
Sweet.
Had an 1984 same trim and colors! Silverado drove 11 years. Served me well ❤
I really like this video, it's awesome! However, I've been trying to find a reasonable square body like this as a starting project, I found one about the same quality of this truck (before repair). The Man was asking 22K for the thing, he finally said he would take 20k, now this is for the rough truck to start the project with. I can't find anything under 15k unless it is completely stripped or rusted out and falling apart. I found one dealer that had one for 17k, but it needed TONS of repair still, he admitted it was a project to do, but, it had no rust to amount to much. I just can't find a starting truck for a project. Can someone tell me what is the current General price range for a project truck to start with as of the year 2024? I wanted to have my own project, but it looks like I'm gonna haft to spend 30k on a basic completed truck that's ready to go. Thanks for any advise and for reasonable correct pricing info for the current year of 2024.
