The guys drag a classic Chevy out of a hay barn. They install a plethora of new body panels, upgrade the suspension and revamp the tired factory interior pieces. Next, the guys look at how to massage body panels too perfection before laying down the dazzling metallic baby blue paint job. Under the hood, Marc and Tommy plug a monster bowtie powerplant. To pay it off, they take it to a famous road in the Smoky Mountains.

After all this and you are still going to call it a Chevelle what a laugh.
I fell in love with the Chevelle in 1968 and would watch Chevelle 24/7 if I could find it.
Thanks for posting this video!
Barn Find. A term that is often used on YouTube to hide the real origin of a certain item in order to create a dramatic video with the purpose of getting lots of views in order to achieve monetizing.
Definitely one of my dream cars! 🤗Spectacular work!!! Congrats 👋
Had to show off the sponsor, I guess, but power wash first then use the product. A lot less used and a lot less scrubbing involved.
Arp bardware for brake lines is a flex lol
Love this video. I have a 72 SS El Camino. Thanks
Nice car! The only thing missing is a modern navigation system with a nice screen on the dash. That would be perfect!
20:22 Copywrite free Paradise City by Guns and Flowers 😁
18:47 I thought I heard "Paradise City" by GNR
I can't help but wounder if the break narrator hurt himself with the low manly voice.
Early 2000s Discovery Channel vibes. Where has channel been all my life?
He says, "I know some of you guys like converting your base models into an SS, and there's nothing wrong with that."Yes, yes there is! I don't care if you call it a "tribute" or a "clone". If you put badges on your car to represent that it's something other than what it is, you're a poser!
People that turn a Le Mans into a GTO, a Skykark into a GSX, or any model into an SS or Yenko are LAME! There's nothing wrong with Le Mans or a Skykark. Just hot rod it and let it be what it is. Remove the badges if you want. Just don't be a poser!
Pretty much a newly built car
I really want to see you rebuild a 67 El Comeno
Honestly, why not just restore the car to the way that it was before it got parked in the barn? No need for the big block or crazy stuff. Keep it original!
My only disappointment is the column shift.
I watched the whole build and loved it.
Its a wonderful detailed effort but in the end you people should provide the expense details as well ! Regards
Wow, another multi million Dollar trailer queen!!!
Time for me to get back to Vice Grip Garage where Derek is actually having some fun and then over to Stay Tuned where Tony actually likes to do burnouts with his project hot rods and anything else he can find!!!👍😸
I absolutely love Restorations and rebuilds
Welp except for the tacky La cucaracha horn lack of a T6 and the missing racing seats and padded roll bar it's great. Geez my grandma was more entertaining behind the wheel
No glory in a 72. POS. Terrible car
Huge job
to do anything with that car but to restore it back to its original makes you an a**** so I'm giving you a thumbs down I'm going to stop watching this video at 3 minutes and 5 Seconds in.
Just because the car is from the 70’s doesn’t mean you have to work on them like we used to… For goodness sake! Put some latex gloves on when using those solvents. There is this thing called cancer. It’s 2024, the science is there, we know the risk of not using proper PPE. It’s your life, you do you. But once you have cancer there is no reset button
А что, нормальную шумоизоляцию не делают? Крыша вообще ни как не обработана. Будет как барабан шуметь. Шумоизоляция должна быть полной, это даёт огромный комфорт. А так, это порнография.
1000 HP and no burn out 🙁 no happy ending
Tommy is easily one of my favorite presenters. Son!
They forgot the SS on the grill.
Boy I'd love to see that bill when this thing's finally finished.
Tolle Arbeit-100%
460 cui..yes ford moter for this bad lady..❤❤❤❤
This is gold!!! Thank you!
i noticed that they installed the rims with an Impact Gun, which is a NoNo
Tommy was definitely showing his Redneck side when he was clearing out the trunk
Que the giant oversized pimp wheels in 3…2…..1
Bullet proof and 4L80e do not go together at all 😂
These cars always turned out so nice. Its even nicer to not have to wait a week for the next episode 😂
I’d like to know if there was any mods on the floor to fit that transmission in.
Ponderosa and Charlie 😂😂😂😂
The skull pendant with the 8 ball made me feel like this guy was definitely young in the 70s 😅😂
it's inspiring to see the clean work doen in a clean environment — thanks for passing on the knowledge —
Check the clearance on the lip on the inside when the door is about half way open. Those aftermarket fenders sometimes need a 1/4 inch trim job.
WOW ! U guys r a great team ! True professionals ! Also, whoever produces your videos is also top notch ! Watched the ‘72 Chevelle build from beginning to end and couldn’t tear myself away even to eat. All of your tips throughout the video are great common sense that can be applied in many areas. THANK YOU for Detroit Muscle !
I wish gets revamp some of these old show formats for the internet. Less awkward dialogue but good classic work and less outlandish stuff. But also I’d want to see these old guys Cameron Donut or Mighty Car Mods, etc.
Beautiful car.
Coil overs where used in 1952 so not a new invention.
While the car looks great on camera every painter knows you don’t panel paint metallics and he should of walked the length of the car. I’d still take the car in heartbeat. 😂😂
My dream car is a 77’ Chevelle
