The guys drag a classic Chevy out of a hay barn. They install a plethora of new body panels, upgrade the suspension and revamp the tired factory interior pieces. Next, the guys look at how to massage body panels too perfection before laying down the dazzling metallic baby blue paint job. Under the hood, Marc and Tommy plug a monster bowtie powerplant. To pay it off, they take it to a famous road in the Smoky Mountains.

  1. Barn Find. A term that is often used on YouTube to hide the real origin of a certain item in order to create a dramatic video with the purpose of getting lots of views in order to achieve monetizing.

  2. He says, "I know some of you guys like converting your base models into an SS, and there's nothing wrong with that."Yes, yes there is! I don't care if you call it a "tribute" or a "clone". If you put badges on your car to represent that it's something other than what it is, you're a poser!
People that turn a Le Mans into a GTO, a Skykark into a GSX, or any model into an SS or Yenko are LAME! There's nothing wrong with Le Mans or a Skykark. Just hot rod it and let it be what it is. Remove the badges if you want. Just don't be a poser!

  3. Wow, another multi million Dollar trailer queen!!!
Time for me to get back to Vice Grip Garage where Derek is actually having some fun and then over to Stay Tuned where Tony actually likes to do burnouts with his project hot rods and anything else he can find!!!👍😸

  4. Welp except for the tacky La cucaracha horn lack of a T6 and the missing racing seats and padded roll bar it's great. Geez my grandma was more entertaining behind the wheel

  5. to do anything with that car but to restore it back to its original makes you an a**** so I'm giving you a thumbs down I'm going to stop watching this video at 3 minutes and 5 Seconds in.

  6. Just because the car is from the 70’s doesn’t mean you have to work on them like we used to… For goodness sake! Put some latex gloves on when using those solvents. There is this thing called cancer. It’s 2024, the science is there, we know the risk of not using proper PPE. It’s your life, you do you. But once you have cancer there is no reset button

  7. А что, нормальную шумоизоляцию не делают? Крыша вообще ни как не обработана. Будет как барабан шуметь. Шумоизоляция должна быть полной, это даёт огромный комфорт. А так, это порнография.

  8. WOW ! U guys r a great team ! True professionals ! Also, whoever produces your videos is also top notch ! Watched the ‘72 Chevelle build from beginning to end and couldn’t tear myself away even to eat. All of your tips throughout the video are great common sense that can be applied in many areas. THANK YOU for Detroit Muscle !

  9. I wish gets revamp some of these old show formats for the internet. Less awkward dialogue but good classic work and less outlandish stuff. But also I’d want to see these old guys Cameron Donut or Mighty Car Mods, etc.

  10. While the car looks great on camera every painter knows you don’t panel paint metallics and he should of walked the length of the car. I’d still take the car in heartbeat. 😂😂
