FULL BUILD: OBS Chevy K1500 4WD Converted to AWD, Slammed, and LS Swapped!

1. Wouldn't LS swapping an Auto-Track equipped OBS, essentially be the same thing? Except a whole lot less work…

4. Your project started within my means, you quickly ran off and left me in the dust before you even swapped the motors! It's a really neat build, but not feasible, not practical, not REAL WORLD! Do you honestly believe that it will bring what you and your sponsors have poured into it? I doubt it! Definitely one of the shiniest turds I've ever seen!

9. My first truck was a Black 89 2wd short bed regular cab Silverado with 350. Lowered 2" front/rear, American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels, Ceramic coated in/out Edlebrock Tri-Y headers, stainless cat-back, lots of cleaning and polishing. Miss that truck. Best to all.

    just immagine some carpet type underlay for softness and sound deadening with a complete black rubber top surface.
    impervious to any liquids, impervious to pet hair, impervious to kids n pets and lazy sloppy adults

28. I have to ask. What does 4wd to awd mean on a vehicle with 4 wheels? If it's 4 wheel drive then that means all 4 wheels spin right? Then that would make it all wheel drive because all the wheels are driving, but it's still 4 wheel drive?
    In short what's the difference between 4wd and awd? Is it that 4wd is a thing you can switch in and out of? Whereas awd is all the time?

42. I loved this build. The only thing I would have done different is the rear lower. I would have dropped it no more than 4 inches. Leveled trucks look goofy on a lunch with the nose up and the rear down. Plus, we get snow here. You add weight to the back for traction and the now have the nose up and the rear down even while driving or at a stop.
