  1. @cagonesss Lots of people say lots of things in this business but you might want to check out the video that I did when I went to their facility and decide for yourself. It's not like I'm a Wells spokesperson but when you get to know the people behind the product it can make a difference.

  2. i hear alot from people and from a shop that they dont use wells products its not a good product ,ive never used wells so i dont know.just things that some have said about that company

  3. @EricTheCarGuy Yeah for sure. I like that they don't gouge you for shipping either. If you're ever in need of exhaust parts, check out Full Line Exhaust. fle-online. com They offer free shipping and that can save you a bundle on thing like mandrel bent tubing. I usually buy from them when I'm looking for an OEM catalytic converter or even catback exhaust. I've found a carsound/magnaflow cat from them for $65 shipped that was going to $325 directly through Magnaflow.

  4. @ProjectCarTV Normally my needs for parts do not allow for extended delivery time but I've gotten things from them in the past, they're a good outfit.

  5. @EricTheCarGuy – I'm sure you have a jobber account with most auto-supply sources but have you ever looked into rockauto. com? I've recieved so many good parts over the years for great prices. I tend to search there when I have a high dollar item like a control arm, camshaft or brake hardware. They have closeouts every so often too. I've bought 4 wheel brake setups for the cost of two rotors at a store before. Good Beck Arnley type products, just like you'd find at Kragen for much less.

  6. @EricTheCarGuy I missed the deadline too. I'm still Uploading it though because I'd like you to see it. I'll be buying some swag anyways. I havent checked yet but – is there a coffee mug available?

  7. @xmtrucker I'm very happy my videos were able to help as that is exactly what I set out to do when I started ETCG. My thanks to you for watching and for your great comment. Feel free to make all the video responses you like as I love watching them.

  8. @Mopardude I would say a good set of measuring tools would solve it for good. They still haven't picked up the core so I might just end up doing that yet.

  9. @robertfletcher89 Given that the problem seems to be related to temperature I might verify the operation of the coolant temp sensor as well as address any check engine lights it might have. I can't remember if that engine had a cold start injector or not but if it does you might want to verify it's operation as well. Good luck.

  10. @sonicthehedgehogca No problem, I'm not leaving YT anytime soon and besides that is where ALL the videos are, not all videos are on the other places I mentioned.

  11. @MoneyMarcMes I appreciate that comment very much. I never thought of doing a head to head on tools but that's an interesting concept. I hope to do more tool reviews and other automotive related stuff on For Sale Wednesdays in the future. Thanks again for your comment.

  12. @Michiganborn1969 Good tip there… Also now GM has delayed production of there vehicles as well due to the shortage of parts from Japan. Even Ford can't produce red or Tuxedo black paint because there paint ingredients comes from Japan too!!! LOL!!!
    Marc

  13. @Michiganborn1969
Btw, with the parts shortage from Japan if you have a Japanese car I'd keep that thing under a tight lock & key. Especially and Honda Accords of the mid 90's. Last year (2010) according to the NICB (National Insurance Crime Bureau) that the #1 car stolen was the 1994 Honda Accord. They are stripped & sold for parts. Now that legit parts are going to be harder to get, We're going to see a butt load of stolen Hondas. My uncle had his 96 Civic stolen 3 times.

  14. Thanks for the update Eric. Forget that question I put on your next video about the Podcast because you answered the question on this video. There's times I can't see your latest video till I get to my desktop b/c of all the storms that we've been having out here makes it REALLY hard to watch on my mobile device. Now I know what time to set the timer on my coffee maker 😉

  15. If money and tools and what ever else wasn't an option what would need to be done to diagnoise the compression loss of that engine?

  16. Eric, I wish you were my mechanic. You actually take the time to do quality work and inspections that my current mechanic won't even do. As for the Chevy Tahoe, lets just agree that GM builds crap and even the cylinder bores may have been drilled incorrectly when they made the block. My opinion. Thanks for all you do Eric. Keep up the good work!!! May I request more tool videos particularly Snap On vs. Mac, Matco???
    Thanks,
    Marc

  17. @Jeffmtbr That is defiantly one that we will revisit at some point, perhaps we can get a cool sponsor to come on or something too.

  18. @fenixflat1 Tengo planes de hacer videos en reconstruye y los 350 sería el motor perfecto para eso. Hasta entonces es posible que desee ver vídeos Boxwrench como lo hace un trabajo realmente bueno con eso.
