For the first time ever, Ford Motor Company will be exporting vehicles from China to the U.S. in 2019, according to FoxNews. The automaker made a statement that its planning to move the production of the Ford Focus from the U.S. to China where the Focus is already made for Chinese buyers. Small car sales have dropped dramatically in America and this is a way to cut costs. Ford says the move will save them $1 billion, including $500 million for canceling the plans on the Focus plant in Mexico.
But Ford says the move won’t cost any U.S. workers their jobs. The Ford plant in Detroit that makes the Focus now will be converted next year to produce the Ford Ranger and Bronco instead. Any thoughts on the Blue Oval moving over seas? Let us know in the comments.

Ford already makes cars in china. Nothing new. Only thing new is Ford is going to import them for the first time from china to the US. May not cost jobs as of now. Until it does. Automakers are always cutting cost for higher profit. Key word Higher. They already making money. They just want more. I guess greed at its best.
