  1. Using a single plane intake isn't good for building torque down low. Upgrading EFI is good, but modifications can be made to the original TBI to help make it run better and more efficiently.

  2. Probably too late to comment, but an access door in the bed will be a godsend when that sending unit inevitably fails. Esp since this is a gas powered rig.

  3. Not impressed with the 'fuel system'. Rubber hose from one end to the other?! The factory runs steel lines for a reason – road damage. Fire waiting to happen. NHRA restricts rubber hose to a total of 12" on the ENTIRE system. I understand this is not a drag car, but likely to experience rougher conditions than on a drag strip. Either braided steel or custom bent hard lines (stainless or steel – aluminum cracks), especially for a project of this cost and magnitude.

  4. I really like most of this build but I would have done a few things different:

Larger wheel and tire combo. Looks like a bouncer wearing skinny jeans.

Box up that frame. My 87 3/4 Sub flexed too much on 9" of lift and 38's. It broke the rear side window out because of it.
