Why not a 205???
looks killer but i think it would be even better with a Dmax in it or a 6bt
omg those hood hinges that noise will haunt me forever
Soooooo glad its not another "LS" swap. Good to see a local engine builder used like we did back in my day.
i spy tiger stripes up top
Using a single plane intake isn't good for building torque down low. Upgrading EFI is good, but modifications can be made to the original TBI to help make it run better and more efficiently.
This would be a good candidate for the new 1000 horse gm crate motor…
Probably too late to comment, but an access door in the bed will be a godsend when that sending unit inevitably fails. Esp since this is a gas powered rig.
Do not paint or protect the under side or engine bay hate half painted projects seems lazy.
hi
Need more info on motor build , anyone have the link ??
Why no steering box support?
The red oxide for the suspension components is the same red as the bilges on most US Navy ships. Ha! That would remind me too much of work every time I worked on it. LOL.
Not impressed with the 'fuel system'. Rubber hose from one end to the other?! The factory runs steel lines for a reason – road damage. Fire waiting to happen. NHRA restricts rubber hose to a total of 12" on the ENTIRE system. I understand this is not a drag car, but likely to experience rougher conditions than on a drag strip. Either braided steel or custom bent hard lines (stainless or steel – aluminum cracks), especially for a project of this cost and magnitude.
Please post a test drive 🚗 🙏
6’4”….. NW!
I really like most of this build but I would have done a few things different:
Larger wheel and tire combo. Looks like a bouncer wearing skinny jeans.
Box up that frame. My 87 3/4 Sub flexed too much on 9" of lift and 38's. It broke the rear side window out because of it.
Anyone else think those wheels are to small or look to small for that big ass truck?
This show sucks
That's a sweet rig!
Post more about the Jeep!
Brings back memories..my dad used to drive one of these stock ❤️
Curious why you chose to not run a return fuel line from the Sniper? It seems like a something PN almost always does.
I’ve seen this a half dozen times, when are you going to finish it up?
What’s the difference between a 91 Chevy suburban and a 91 gmc suburban engine and logos?
That finished product is INSANE
Can't believe they used the weak stock tie rod with that setup
Last year they made that body-style was 1987– why are you identifying this as a 91 when it clearly is not?
Rear-end looks way to close to the front side of the rear wheel openings with the tires on
👍
Those tires look silly an way to small
Why did they mate the engine to the transmission without the torque converter installed??
It sits too high, making it too top heavy.
Wheel size is spot on trend.Oversize is so last year
