@scottaner500 Thank you.
@ffgew22 I saw that Top Gear too, I love that show.
nice one man
@EricTheCarGuy correct and also if the customer is willing to pay
Really like the Veyron. But an even more amazing machine was the McLaren F1. Built 15 years ago and still the world's fastest NA engine. It can still manage to beat the Veyron in a 1/4 mile drag. I know the figures on paper say no, but in practice its much different.
@canadacatalyst Depends on your definition of perfection, it's still only 1/3 efficient even after all this time and development.
@COD5252 Yep, mostly by replacing the trans as you might as well rebuild the whole trans if it has failed internal parts, it's not worth just doing part of the job, for the sake of time it's much easier to replace a failed trans that it is to rebuild it especially considering the tools and time required to do the job properly.
@virgojeep1 If I get one in I'd be happy to make a video on that.
@dandim23 The closer it is to the engine the hotter it gets, the hotter the cat the better it works.
i love the engine technology over all the years. it has come so far in the 100 years. dont you think we would have perfected it by now? lol
Hi eric,have u ever repaired overdrive in any vehicle?
I need a video on replacing a timing chain on a 22RE engine.
@dandim23 except for ex models
i have something totally random to say…..y oh y did honda put the cat on the exhaust manifold…dummest design ever for 1996-00 single cam civics
@EricTheCarGuy Nice. What kind of camera do you shoot pictures with?
@workwithnature If your near there go there you won't be disappointed, on top of that it's free.
@TheMancanich1 I like those too but the Germans built a nice plane too.
@Paki2c I hope we meet too, thanks for your comment.
@BlinginTom I would go for something larger as the CRX is considered a 2 seater and those are expensive to insure if you can insure them at all, a Civic might be a better start.
@spelunkerd Awesome but those positions are filled with 'international' testers at the moment. Thanks for your interest though.
@screenmute I'm happy to be your catalyst, thanks for the comment.
@AtlanticFlyer Yep, you did notice that.
@CoolasIce2 Awesome.
@mikeishot123789 Try changing the fluid first to see if that helps, if not then get a trans. Good luck.
@beefystik I love it too, it's one of the best I've ever been too.
@TheCLPVideos I was with family that day but that sounds like a future plan if it could really happen.
@MrMK94 Yea, very cool place.
@The94hondaaccordex Your good.
@toyota4life94 I do too, thanks very much for your comment.
@jboydmv90 Nope, not on an Xterra.
@trunitemare Yep
Cool stuff. The museum sounds like some fun 😉
eric man ur real bro i give u 2thumbs up lets just say ur a real guy i hope some day i end up bumping into you
@EricTheCarGuy Humm. Don't you ever give your customers a bill? LOL
I can be a beta tester if you want. I've got a Mac and a PC. All I need is a Honda, ha ha.
Dave
Yea, airplane engines are cool. Here in the Smithsonian Air and Space museum, there is a cutaway of a Pratt and Whitney radial engine that slowly rotates.
Eric The Car Guy Was here in Dayton, OH. WOW we should have planned an Eric The Car Guy Meet & Greet Event!
@littlejohnbitch By the time you get the work order bring the vehicle in put it on the lift (if they have it) get the tools pull the cover let it drain clean out the diff scrap the old seal off get the new one place it on install the new cover and torque the bolts put the lift down take it out clean your tools fill out the order and hand it in. Ta dah there's your 90$
I went to that museum a couple of years ago, and it was REALLY good!
Dam I just changed a timming belt on a honda 3.5l today. I should have made a video of it so people could watch it for free
I was working for NCR for 9 years and I was sent to school for over a total of 6 months in dayton OH I had to stay in the barracks with a shared bathroom man some fun times there . I went to that place and a lot of other cool places I also loved the steak night at the Leagion ares place . Hope things get better!!
Eric, did you take those picture at that museum?
@EricTheCarGuy i could sit in the engine compartment where the old 62hp crx motor was, and have the whole cabin for the 8l w16 motor and the dual clutch transmission. You just can't buy the engine, no matter how much you ask/pay.
@tinydx95t2 That sounds like a lot of work, why not just replace it with a salvage or reman?
@4G63PWR Sorry to hear that, hopefully next week will be better.
