  1. As with the whole presidency its a total fail. This is the heaviest Presidential limo ever. I think its a maintenance issue. They put regular gas in it last year its a DIESEL.

  2. Who said she is American you're very good at assuming since you basically assumed your entire way through all of your comments what even inspired you to comment and say what you said when you know all it would do is kick back on you and that it added nothing worthy to the comments.

  3. I used to work at the factory That made Packaged wheel bearings for trucks & SUVs, The limo is the only CAR that our( the factory I worked at ) bearings went on. The front wheel bearings were the same as a 1 TON 4×4. Just thought I would share. thanks for your videos. You & Brian are the 2 mechanics I watch & Recomend the most.

  4. @PsychoCB7 P.S. – Final Gear has been mentioned on Top Gear's official site on a number of occasions in the past couple years and they have yet to do anything about what the site offers so I wouldn't think they mind. That helmet Hammond wore in the Veyron back when he raced the Euro-Fighter(? – some jet) was actually a gift from FG when he was injured in his crash. So… atleast I don't feel guilty about downloading, haha!

  5. @Knaeckebrotsaege Late response, buuuuut: check out FinalGear-dot-com if you're not against torrents and file sharing. You can download Top Gear (not the edited/shortened versions we get on BBC America) and Fifth Gear (a more serious show featuring former TG hosts from the '70s-'90s), as well as Top Gear Australia and Top Gear America.

ETCG, Keep up the excellent work! I actually drive an Accord ('92), so it's a fortunate coincidence you work on them so much!

  6. @s0uthernchik Yet still accurate. An American calling someone rude? I do love the states, own property there etc. However, I hope now that you've flushed the economy down the toilet and wall street has raped the rest of the population for every cent possible that Americans might learn that the truly intelligent, are capable of self-criticism. Luv you guys, but you really need to get your heads out of your collective asses. Oh and study a bit of history. I know, who am I kidding.

  7. I seen the video and the front of the limo just drops, and that is what I was looking for and that is what it looked and sounded like.

  8. @hubbleISS I would imagine it's a heavy car, it's my understanding it can take a rocket hit. I would also think if you were watching the presidential limo drop to the ground and make a loud noise you might be a bit startled and shake your camera. Thanks for the comment.

  9. I think something definitely happened with the suspension as the strain on it when it drove down would've been far weaker if there were coils (this could be a bad guess) then one if them could've possibly over extended and even snapped, but I think that your prediction with the air suspension is pretty much on the ball, nice vid, stay dirty XD

  10. russia today has a longer verson of the first linked vid. and after the bus moves out of the way the limo is unstuck so im thinking it was the loose nut behind the wheel!

  11. @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR Yea that is interesting but consider that he is traveling with a small army that is going to lay down their lives to protect him, not to mention he could call in the air force, the car is just the FIRST line of defense I'm sure.

  12. @petergriffintubin1 I saw that too but I don't think it explains why the wheels came up into the wheel wells in the front and stayed there. Thanks for the input.

  13. @roadragecustoms That was actually the genesis of my theory, the air bags are made of rubber and when overextended they would snap back like rubber bands.

  14. Hey Eric, you think if, God forbid, the President is under attack, the airbags were shot, it would've disable the car on the spot? Sure it can withstand rockets, high powered bullets, even poisonous smoke, but wouldn't that be the car's weak point at its suspension?

  15. @ericthecarguy if you watch the rear of the car it stays up or inflated(first clip) and theres no way it scraped and broke an air line as i would amagin the bottom of the car is covered in crazy thick steel plates, covering the important parts(driveshaft, t-case, ect)

  16. The real question is why did the passenger front tire come off the ground between 6:47 & 6:49? Seems like the front suspension was being pulled up into the vehicle faster than the vehicle was coming down. You can't easily do that with air bags alone.

  17. @vochitoken The President always travels with a backup limo in case the primary is disabled. He switched to the backup

  18. Looks like the airbags went out, but both sides at once..? Especially the way the car rocked back and fourth several times after it came to an abrupt stop reminds me of watching a lincoln with blown out rear air shocks hit bumps going down the road. I wouldent be surprised if there is some kind of space-aged suspension system going on down there the likes of which us regular techs have never seen before. Thats one expensive vehicle, seems necissary to transport the most importaint man around huh

  19. @vochitoken Good question, someone sent me a longer video of what happened after but a bus pulled up in front of it so no one could see what they were doing. Thanks for the comment.

  20. @Matthew1762 I'm not surprised by that at all, it can withstand a rocket attack I believe and that takes some serious armor which is very heavy. Thanks for the comment.
