@BoxingJ Keep in mind the tone ring is also a part of that signal, if it's damaged in anyway it could also cause issues and a code like that. If it's inside on the crank however and you have a manual trans check your thrust bearings as this can cause the crank to walk out of position causing a loss of signal.
@chrisr1672 Thank you for your input, looking back I would not have done anything differently especially since I know what's coming to you the viewer in the not too distant future. 🙂
@maribethbgallemit88 I'll take your suggestions to heart thank you. In a way I'm kind of working on something to help make my life easier and make more information available to the viewers, trust me I'm well aware of how much time I spend doing this but it is something that I love to do so it really doesn't seem like work. I do however appreciate your concern and thank you very much for your comments it means a great deal to me, thank you.
Hey Eric I like your stand on the pod casts. Sometimes you have to make a tough call like that but its a neccesary call
anyone who wants eric to employ some of his recently discovered radio voicing skills in his FATR episodes please thumb up! 🙂
@EricTheCarGuy yea i did. seems to loose pressure after it sits for over a day. i know that the regulator hasn't been changed since 1984 lol! i just wanted your opinion on what it could be so i can go in the right direction.
and lastly, because of YOU and your videos, (which I keep downloading, in case you will get tired of broadcasting, I have already copies.) I've learned to have SELF-CONFIDENCE on how to deal with troubleshooting the problems of my car. I've learned a lot from you. You are such a NICE "dirty guy"..hahaha! Keep up the good work and think about my suggestion. I hope others who keep following you will agree with me. If they don't..for all I care..hehehe! They can go to hell! hahaha!
Eric, deal with us on a "One is to One" basis. I am sure all your efforts are compensated and you will continue to do what you are doing with a smiling face rather than trying to explain to us the efforts that you are doing yet some don't understand as if begging us to understand.. when you are doing such a GREAT job for us and that is lessening expenses to troubleshoot the problem of our cars. Eric, you have good brain and we do appreciate it because you SHARE….GREATFUL in all that you do:-)
Eric, we need your brain to guide us in how to go about making our cars running in good condition. The reason why you have many followers. If you won't do it. I believe one day you will get exhausted and stop all these but! for us who needs you..what will happen to us who are already dependent on you..so please and I hope you will try to analyze things. Be practical! you need us and we need you. Meaning..the "give and take" attitude. Hope you will agree with me. Thanks for all your videos.
Also, some don't understand the EXTRA EFFORTS that you are doing just so we can get to lessen our expenses. You are just SHARING your knowledge when it comes to cars. Yet people are not thankful. So if i may suggest, deal only with people who appreciate what you are doing and then charge us for the knowledge shared. You need to earn for your family. You are not oblige to teach people without something in return because you spend your time doing those videos and its not easy like others think.
Hey Eric, me here from the Philippines. I've viewed some of your other videos where you were explaining your side about doing good yet some doesn't understand. Well, as the saying goes.. you can NEVER please everybody. That is right! Remember, JESUS CHRIST came on earth to SAVE mankind yet what did HE get in return? You see.. so don't expect all people to enjoy and be thankful in all that you do. But for those who enjoys like me. Be happy!!! This is where you can get your satisfaction. Hehe!
@nico27004 Have you checked fuel pressure?
i think my ignition system is good. i have changed a bunch of stuff in that. there is also a new fuel pump, fuel tank and filter. all lines were cleaned out. all i can think of is the fuel pressure regulator or leaky fuel injectors, but i don't see the injectors leak. what do you think it could be? i was kinda leaning more toward the fuel pressure regulator. what could it be? o love your videos by the way lol!
@nico27004 If you know your ignition system is in good order then the next step I would take is to check the fuel pressure especially when the problem is present.
@BrettyUK In fact I'm looking at doing some videos on diesels and trucks at some point as I do like to learn new things as you point out. I haven't see the video you refer to but it sounds fun. Thanks for your comments.
toyota pickup is hard to start after sits for days and misfires after turned on. it has a new cap and rotor, plugs and wires. could that be fuel infectors or something like that?
Hi from the UK stumbled across your videos a while back and think they are great keep up the good work, even as a HGV mechanic who rarely touches cars i can still appreciate then and the time and effort it must take plus you should never stop learning things even if you never work on them you may do one day eh? Speaking of workshop pranks have you seen the airbag one called idiotic airbag prank?
@EricTheCarGuy Alright man for sure thanks.
@I4Inst1nct There is actually one sitting behind me in this video that I plan to use to cover that at some point.
@nico27004 You don't normally need an installer as you can draw them up with the fastener most times in my experience.
@curtis9188 You might be able to find it on my FB posts but it's probably far down in the history by now.
@docdavidb I will have other things that I hope will make for a better interaction with the viewers for the not too distant future. I appreciate your comment very much.
@MrFer5900 Believe it or not the schedule is more for me than anyone but thanks for your concern and for your comment.

@1ownjoo2 Next do a leak down test to determine where the compression is going, I did a video on that that shows the process and how to interoperate the results.
