  1. @EricTheCarGuy eric great that you give away prizes i just got your vid but a little late as its the 17th july but never mind still enjoy thanks

  2. For the next contest you should take the comments and number them for however many are posted and use a random number generator to pick the winner.

Just use googe to find one you like.

  4. @1ownjoo2 Yea pretty much, it doesn't take long for gear oil to get dirty in my experience, the important thing is to make sure you use LSD additive or oil when you have an LSD diff, other than that make sure it stays at the proper level and it shouldn't give you any problems.

  5. ARRRGHHhhh.. i wish i had entered that contest.. I've just started my year 2 automotive apprenticeship… *sigh

  6. @aeligos That would be a personal preference I would think as they both perform the same function, I would say go for the one that fits your needs and your budget.

  7. @aikido8888 I think using a hydraulic press would be so much easier and less effort, if nothing else perhaps you could remove the hub assembly and take it somewhere just to have the new bearing pressed in.

  8. @baloncito44 I've had that happen to my car. It would run just fine and once it got going and I came to a stop it would die. I'd put it in park and then start it and all would be fine until I put it in "D" and it would die. I was told it only happened to automatic transmission cars. The torque converter was not disengaging the engine and as a result coming to a stop was causing the engine to come to a stop as well. I hope you don't have this problem.

  9. WOW Ive seen ps2' xbox360, and a whole bunch of crap given away, but I have to give it to you erick! those tool boxes were AWESOME! by far the best giveaway I've seen o youtube! and something that everyone cant get enough of even if they already have. I sure hope you do this again man. congrats to the winner! lucky dude!

    > I won't be able to attend tomorrows podcast after all. Last minute the boss asked me if I could pick up some passengers from San Bruno (last years PG&E explosion) at 8am. Special assignment where it's suit & tie. At least it's additional $200. Perhaps next sunday I'll hear it I'll cross everything this time.

  11. @spelunkerd Well you can always download the shows on iTunes and listen to them, glad you like the audio show, I know I enjoyed doing the show with Eric, and I still think he really likes it. Time is a precious commodity at times and who knows, he may just decide to do the show again at some point so we'll see! Economically, I have a lot of time wrapped up into myself, I mix and upload the shows so it easily twice the time for me but it's my passion.

  12. @EricTheCarGuy Cool, thanks for the advice…I Did notice one of my plug wires may be bent a little too far (it's kind of kinked into a pigtail) so in retrospect I may have a intermittent connection there….I hope you're right!

  13. @baloncito44 There are a lot of things that could cause that if I'm honest but I would start by looking at the idle circuit and for vacuum leaks. Good luck.

  14. @nightmathzombieethan First thing that comes to mind is the ignition system, you say you replaced all those parts but I can say that if you used cheep parts this may be the source of the problem Hondas are picky when it comes to ignition parts, I like to use NGK or OE parts personally.

  15. @CarAndTruckTalk That makes me sad, too. Eric has undoubtedly been the best thing going on Youtube, week by week. One has to laugh when trying to compare TV products to Eric on youtube.

I had trouble getting ready for those podcasts, so I didn't participate there. Maybe it was a volume issue. The product is outstanding, and so the critical missing link has to be economic viability.

  16. : Hi Eric, first of all I want to say that you have an awsome channel and thanks for all the help and support that you are giving to the people, I was wondering if you can give me some advise for my 03 automatic nissan sentra?, ok this is whats up, when you turn it on it will start right up and it will be on with no prolems and no check engine light, but when you stop at the first red light or stop sign it will shut off by it self…
Thanks in advance for your help and support…

  17. Got an interesting one for ya Eric: I get hesitation and backfiring during acceleration. It doesn't always happen, and it's usually when accelerating quickly but it does do it sometime when accelerating normally. Otherwise it runs fine, and like I said, it comes and goes sometimes it doesn't manifest itself at all even if I drive aggressively…. 86 Prelude Si (with the PGMFI). Sticky injector? My plugs/wires/distributor/coil are all fairly new. Oh, and glad I'm you liked the Ferrari! Any ideas?
