  1. I have questions.

    1. When you knife edge a crank do you reduce engine torque output and does it weaken the crank?
    2. When you off set the crankshaft does it weaken the crank also by how much if you grind?
    3. What’s the difference between normal bearings and racing bearings and do they reduce friction on the engine?

  2. If given the chance for a “sky high” style build where budget and material type had no limit, would you consider building the lightest V8 that also made the highest horsepower (think pure titanium/carbon fiber build) just to see what it could do?

  3. Love the show, guys. I've been watching for a lot of years as well. At the risk of alienating some of your base (American muscle), I'd love to see a build up on a 4.0 Toyota, 1GR-FE engine.
You both are fantastic hosts and explain things well. Keep rollin' with the pocket protector and dad jokes!

  4. Good day gentlemen, I have a mission if you choose to participate well I want to know will high compression motors with ring gap except boosted in duction systems and not scatter if you manage boost

  5. Im broke have no money and drive an automatic pos… this is a longshot but can you just build me a super cool car, like anything manual transmission is my only wish, I’ll give you my car in return and my gratitude. I know this is a long shot and I highly doubt it but a man in my position can only hope. God bless you anyways, love you guys been watching for so many years since way before i even had a license you guys are the best, my favorite was always EnginePower! Again God Bless

  6. "Experts"? College boy doesn't know the difference between piston ring lands and piston ring grooves, go back to Buzzin' Half Dozen. Lost respect for the channel with that episode, haven't watched since until today. Pat, he's a good guy.

  7. Would love to see you build a car and enter it in Power Tour or Sick Week, then document your trip every step of the way. It would be a wonderful demonstration of pre conceived strategy and tactics versus real life experience.

  8. YOU GUYS ARE AWSOME…I CAN'T DRIVE BECAUSE I AM "LEGALLY BLIND" IN ONE EYE…
BUT…I CAN STILL DREAM!!! I'LL THROW A CHALLENGE FOR YOU….
LET'S SEE YOU GUYS DO A FULL BUILD ON A 1969 VW BUS😂😂😂😂 ALL YOUR VEHICLES ARE AWSOME.

  9. my first engine was a briggs it never ran but it turned into a fun hobby and im proud to say now 30 years later ive sucessfully repaired literally thousands of mowers for myself people in the neighborhood and customers today though ive stopped working in a shop and i no longer do repairs for people in the neighborhood i just work on my own stuff

  10. Still in love with you guys for making that ford inline 6 300ci turbo. From 90hp to 400something was insane. That was a super budget friendly engine. Would love to see that one power a car or truck. Did it make it in that old truck if so we didn’t see it drive! Please get these engines in vehicles or pass them off to your other team member who are building cool cars! I see trucks and cars for sale now on the used market with 300k miles so we are definitely all driving alot!
