  4. Question asked about mice in a guys, vehicle.. I had this problem with a couple vehicles, SOLUTION:, buy a bottle of peppermint at walmart ect. get a small container, place cotton inside and pour the peppermint on it, place the lid on and punch a few holes on the top, place the container under your car seat and another in the motor compartment and your mice problem is gone. Old tobacco tins with a magnet on the bottom works really good, you can place them anywhere a magnet will attach, every couple of months refresh the peppermint.. It really works well..

  7. Moth balls in the GLOVE BOX? No way! They'd stink up the passenger compartment badly and FYI they are not supposed to be used in an area where humans breathe, only in long term air tight containers/bags/etc.

  8. yo car guy, about the coolant leak problem, u can also pressure ck the system simply by starting the car and let the engine get hot, 1s hot shut the engine off and vuawla instant pressure…verify by trying to squeeze the upper rad. hose to confirm pressure exsists and look for the leak….if no leak is present it could also be the rad. cap letting out to much coolant while driving and coming out the over flow bottle….

  16. Yeah I had problems starting the car, especially when the car had been left idle for a while, asked around, got told it was probably the battery, replaced the battery and checked for corrosion etc, same problem. Turns out it was the alternator, after the battery it seems to be the number one culprit and those go bad on older cars, though it rarely gets mentioned…

  17. to the question at 39 minutes about the wheels shaking at 60mph: that could very easily be your outer tie rods. when they get enough play in them, they will cause a wobble.
