  1. I Have a v8 with a 4 barrel holley double pump.. When its cold I need to spray starting fluid  to start it . Then it starts fine all day, but when it cools off. . I have to repeat the process…Help………

  2. Have 2001 jeep Cherokee want to know how to it get to run cooler normal temperature runs at 210 maybe a little cooler thinking and high flow products water pump thermostat and housing will it could their be a problem with using those item

  3. I have a solara and it makes noises while turning and hitting bumps. My car it was the end links and upper bearing plate

  4. You are right about engineering being based on cost but sometimes the cost is during production assembly.  Some stuff is engineered to make it simpler to assemble the vehicle and may adversely affect the poor guy who has to do repairs later on.  Examples:  Spark plugs, water pumps or alternators, regular repair items that require lifting out the whole engine to replace.

  5. Do bad struts affect your alignment? I got an alignment and my car still pulls and pep boys says I have to buy struts which they're charging me $500 for. Is this true or are they just wanting more from my wallet?

  6. Diesel + grey smoke under acceleration + engine is warm, then atomized fuel is leaving exhaust unburnt. If engine is not running too cold, then it could be a timing issue.

  7. what would you prefer a 8 cylinder engine 6 cylinder engine  or the 4 cylinder? I had a 4 cylinder van running at 2.4l which took about the most 26mpg highway no ac running now i have a 6 cylinder car running at 3.0l and gets yes you heard that right 30mpg on highway no ac, Any comments on that? thanks!

  8. Love the duck, it's the perfect addition to the Couch Gang. About that transmission fluid; I think I'd change it and see what happens. If it goes from red to pink again, there is obviously an issue…but it could just be really old fluid too, so changing it might help.

  9. hey Eric,

thanks so much for your videos and your great sense of humor.  i've learned a lot from you and saved $ as well.

your one of the coolest tech/mechanic!!!!!!

  10. hi Eric,
I have a 2011 honda accord coupe and the (ABS & VSA) lights comes on all at the same time and wont go away…not even the honda dealer cant fine the problem…what should i do to fix the problem???…

  11. First live show that I managed to watch live.  Very good Eric, not sure if I'm typing the right place though.  Take care Eric

  12. Eric, i recently bought a 1983 Chevy k10 with a supposed crate 350. He has no paperwork but it looks and sounds new. I am trying to get the identification codes but i cant see the rear driver side code(too far in back), and the head is covering the other id code on the passenger side front code. Where can i find codes to identify exactly what i have?

  13. So I have 77 Datsun 620 with 70,000 miles. And I am wondering If I should trade it for a 1992 Mazda Miata with 190,000 miles. Think it is a good trade?
