Everything’s going digital these days. Anything from airline tickets to your insurance card can be pulled up on an app on your phone. And driver’s licenses’ might be next. Colorado, Wyoming, Maryland, Idaho and the District of Columbia are working on a pilot program that shows your license on your phone, front and back just as it looks in real life, but you can choose what information is shown depending on the situation. So if you’re going to purchase alcohol, the vendor would see your picture and date of birth and nothing else. But would you want to hand over your phone, and all the information on it, if you get pulled over? Let us know!
